In How Obama Embraces Islam's Sharia Agenda he explains that because of Islam's strict sharia laws, criticism of any kind of Islam, Mohammed, Allah, etc (what we consider free speech) is forbidden and usually punishable by death. Muslims that support strict sharia law (a majority of Muslims according to the author) may be violent or non-violent but both want to eventually see sharia law enforced globally in every country. By working with groups associated with the Muslim Brotherhood, the core group promoting sharia law by any means, such as CAIR, MSA, OIC the Obama administration was actively abetting the Islamist platform. This includes Promoting sharia law, easing enforcement of laws that stop Islamic charities from funding jihadist terror, and promoting UN resolutions that aim to stifle our free speech. Sharia is Islam's all-encompassing combined system of religion and law. Instead of separation of church and state they want the church and state as the same entity under Islam. Fascinating book and the author, being a lawyer, makes many other interesting points that should concern all of us.
