This series really does make me laugh like a loon on loon tablets. - Rosie getting her pants pulled down (oh I cried with laughter) - "losing keys" - All about Dave the Laugh Literally every update I hype up Dave so much, but he's such a good character, I love him Jelloid knickers.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ Finally got myself to finish reading this book. Such a fun read and a good branch-out! The characters are so relatable, esp Georgia; at least for me🙈 Now I really have to read the next book to know what'll happen with them two..

This seventh installment in the series finds Georgia Nicolson on her way to “the cakeshop of agony” yet again as she worries over whether Massimo will agree to be her one and only. This book lacks the freshness of the series opener (Angus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging) and feels a bit like the same one we’ve read seven times now as Georgia struggles with the usual predicaments: embarrassing parents, school woes, appearance anxiety, and of course, boy trouble. I love Dave the Laugh. Masimo still is a twit. And the play must go on. But I am internally SCREAMING!! Oh how I've missed Robbie and crave his humor. Dave was a great substitute but he also is a hornmeister.

Some lol moments but after book 6, when you know the outcome, you kind of wonder what can possibly fill 4 more books. Good cliffhanger ending though! Will keep reading, these are still fun and funny even if the plot is getting way drawn out.

(It's the series that never ends!) Georgia Nicolson is a self-absorbed, British teenager who keeps a diary detailing her life in all its glorious angst(think Bridget Jones for teens). Her parents are mad and her friends just do not realize that Georgia is indeed the center of the known universe. She's got a cat who is half Scottish wildcat and a little sister who is only partially potty-trained. Georgia thinks about boys constantly and treats them kind of like Lays potato chips (you can't kiss just one). She accidentally shaves off her eyebrows, goes to a party dressed as a stuffed olive, and has problems with nipple control. Nevertheless, she manages to attract the attention of Robbie the Sex-God, Dave the Laugh (who coins many funny phrases like piddly-diddly department and away laughing on a fast camel), and Masimo the Dreamboat. Georgia suffers from a severe case of what Dave the Laugh calls "the Cosmic Horn" and can't seem to settle down with just one boyfriend. Georgia gets herself into one hilarious predicament after another. While this series isn't exactly classic literature, I dare you to read it without laughing out loud.

I smile fondly at the entire series. I just read books 7,8,9 and really they should be one or maybe two books. They kept ending right in the middle of a scene and made for some artificial cliff-hangers. But I laughed at Georgia's antics, as usual. She seems a tiny bit less self-obsessed and selfish and we do get some more actual family drama. I am anxious to get to the final book of the series. Although after listening to so many I could hear it in the narrator's voice while I read the books to these three. These are appropriate for older teens I think. Maybe 16 and up - I don't know, maybe 14. Although there is plenty of teenager-ish talk, there really isn't anything beyond kissing. And the language is fine, unless there is more to British slang than I realize.

It is great to have finally read this installment of the Georgia Nicolson series! I saw this book in the discount bin at the store years ago, and it caught my eye because it was cute. The ending of this one struck me as even more abrupt as the previous installments. It basically ended mid-scene!

I love the cover of this book! The imagery of the Macuseless play rehearsals and Jas as “Miss Haversham in that Dickens book, what is it called? Crap Expectations, I think… [sitting] in her wedding dress gathering cobwebs for years and years” are great. In a way, it kind of reminds me of Patsy and Edina in Absolutely Fabulous,, though here, we’re given the high school version. ;) Major bleak moment: Georgia on Masimo’s Vespa: “Unfortunately as I spoke, a flying bug flew into my mouth. You know, it's funny...I was ripping along through the books, enjoying them in a casual-like way, but not luuurving them, necessarily...and now I find myself in a bit of a bind. This cliff hanger ending actually has me regretting that I don't have the next couple of books immediately at hand! Who will Georgia pick? The Italian Stallion, Dave the Laugh, or the newly returned Sex God?? I'm a little surprised to be saying this, but I really want to know vair vair much. I know which one I'd go for! I really liked this one a lot. It had Mosimo the Italian Luuurve God making Georgia WAIT and see if he wanted to be "exclusive" with just her. Then there is the Play Mac-Useless where Dave the laugh is always lurking behind the scenes (ha ha) and declaring his love for her...maybe! Lots of fun Disco dancing and Viking Wedding talk...and other things that if you haven't read the books might sound completely mad! But that's what these books are, MAD!!! But so cute!

Honestly, I think that this book could have been way better. Half of the time I did not even get what was going on. This book was pretty boring and barely readable. The only thing that made it at least a bit interesting was Georgia's bubbly and no nonsense nature. Except for that, it is not really worth reading.

This one didn't make me laugh out loud. It is getting a bit repetitive for me... Georgia's insecurities and "madness" are getting to be too predictable and boring for me. A bit disappointing as the first one really had me laughing.
