4.5/5 I loved this book! In the last few Georgia Nicolson books, I felt like not a lot happened, but this one had some real plot! I'm unsure how I feel about Masimo currently, but I DO know that Georgia and Dave the Laugh NEED TO GET TOGETHER ASAP. Also, I need some more of Robbie, even though he's in another country and everything. I can't get enough of Georgia and her silly plans and I will be starting the next in the series right away!

These books never fail to cheer me up! In this installment the hunt for Italian Stallion continues. During ace gang's emergency 5-hour meeting re: dinner date with Masimo. 6:30 pm Then we got on to the snogging bit. I said, "Do you think Italians snog the same as English boys?" Then Rosie said, "Finally, as you haven't had any snogging practice for a while, try an experimental snog on the back of my leg." What??? Absolutely not, not a snowball's chance in hell. No and three times NO. 6:45 pm On my knees snogging the back of Rosie's leg whilst the ace gang watch me. Why am I doing this? Rosie was shouting instructions. "Yes, yes, that's good. Good. And breathe. Too much teeth!! Too much teeth!!! A bit more sucky. Flicky tongue and... finish." Good grief. Have you ever snogged the back of someone's leg? Someone who is one of your mates and is wearing a false beard? Well, I hope you never have to - that is all I am saying."

Georgia is so cringe-worthy. I spent 95% of the book silently yelling at her in my head to see some sense and: -Write back to Robbie. He was sweet and nice and you're being an asshole, Georgia. -Not bring so much shit with her to the States. You don't need it. -Stop being so embarrassing. I literally can't handle anymore weird excuses for the weird things she does. -GET TOGETHER WITH DAVE THE LAUGH. He's perfect for her and Masimo is probably going to break up with her anyway. Actual rating: 4.5 This series is so fun if you're in the right mood. I had to read a book that takes place in another country and the majority of this book takes place in England. This is number 6 in the series and I think it's my favorite one so far. For me, these are laugh out loud funny. I had to take off half a star because of the cliffhanger ending. Luckily I have the next one in the series. 2016 MacHalo Challenge: A book set in a different country

I love all the Georgia books. They make me laugh histarically, mostly because she does a lot of the things I woud do(like that). I can't wait to see what she does next. She left me on the edge of a cliff last book.

Ah Georgia -- hung out on the rack of love, leaving readers on the rack, too, with such a sticky cliffhanger. Masimo? Robbie? Dave? The whole boy spectrum is covered here. Onto the next....

Georgia is hilarious but it's not always her intention! I hope she'll learn from her mistakes.

This one might be my favourite (other than the first book in the series) because not only is it hilarious and involves an extended family vacation (always a highlight) but it's the first book where Georgia starts to show some "maturosity". Four more to go though, so it's not that simple...

It's off to 'hamburger-a-go-go' land! At the end of the previous book Georgia's dad announces that they're off to America for a clown car convention. Georgia apparently has no concept of American geography, because she thinks it'll be a cinch for her and Jas to hop on a Greyhound to see Masimo. She doesn't even know where he's staying and ends up calling all over Manhattan looking for him to no avail. The sex god Robbie is still in New Zealand, and now his brother Tom is with him. Jas and Georgia spend more time together as a result of their lack of boyfriends, but they get rather stroppy with each other alot. I suppose that's common for teenage girls. Robbie still thinks about Georgia and writes to her, but she never responds because she's hung up on Masimo, who unfortunately is hanging around Wet Lindsay. Dave the Laugh is still a constant in Georgia's life. He continues to give her advice on how to rope in Masimo. It's clear he still likes Georgia, even though he's dating someone else. Georgia starts to mature a bit in this book. Sure, she's still self-obsessed and makes the silliest jokes with her friends. But she starts to learn that it's helpful to listen to others. She seeks advice from Dave, Jas and even her mother when it comes to matters of the heart (aka, is Masimo her boyfriend or not). Lots of funny moments in this book, e.g., pet cat Gordy eating her false eyelashes and a horrific case of "shoe feet", make Then He Ate My Boy Entrancers another enjoyable adventure in the life of Georgia Nicolson.

Hamburger-a-gogo land and Molto, molto Masimo vs. Il Ministrone—need I say more? ;) The Miss Malaprop moments are priceless. Favorite line: Masimo: “Are you freddo…?” Georgia: “Oh dear God, he wasn’t going to talk about elves and hobbits, like boys did, was he?” The cat imagery in these books is excellent. You can tell that Rennison must have had a cat: “Angus got on my knee and started doing that kneading thing they do to make you all comfy. For them. I am like a human bean bag to him.”

My favourite quote from this book is: “What if you were really meant to be with someone? But you kept messing about and having the Horn and so on and you lost them.” I like this quote because I think it is very thoughtful unlike all the other crazy things Georgia says. I also like this quote because I find it very deep and emotional, but I think this happens quite a lot because people muck about with people and it isn’t till the person they love has gone that they realise they were the right person for them. 4. I didn’t really learn much from this book but what I did learn was that Georgia goes to great extent to find Masimo in America. 5. My favourite character from this book is Georgia Nicolson. Georgia is an outgoing, crazy, good humoured teenager who falls in love with Masimo who is an Italian-American ‘dreamboat’. Georgia, her family and her best friend Jas went to America for a clown-car-convention. While Georgia’s family were busy at the clown-car-convention Georgia and Jas decided that they would try and hunt Masimo down in America. Georgia is my favourite character because she always keeps you entertained with the crazy thoughts and ideas she has.

She has a family vacation to the States (Memphis, TN) with her family and Massimo himself is in America (NYC) around the same time frame. Georgia thinks the states are all a bus ride away in distance and thinks on her vacation she will find him and they will have a wonderful time together and fall madly in love, though to her dismay she didn't get to see him; though sadly I don't think she actually learned how far Mephis was from New York City. The stor is written in a nice sized sentences though with it written journal style you are never really sure where a chapter has begun or ended. Louise Rennison has a writing style that is very different from other's in my perspective, it is very repetitive with words and a lot of the words are English slang so the author (so kindly) added a glossary of all the slang so that readers could understand and learn some useless English slang. Though I love the addition it takes some reading time out by trying to look in the back of the book every few sentences to try figure out what Georgia is talking about.

I am really into this series at the moment, mostly because it's short, sweet and funny. Everything I like in a book. Although I really don't like reading about teen romance as I usually find it to childish, I like this one quite a lot. Georgia Nicolson is a girl with many problems that don't seem that awful to you but they are first-world-problems for her. I like this so much because I can relate with the character. I, too, was an overreacting mess that cared about every single thing in a world, before. I just love Masimo and I want her to be with him but I think I like Robbie a bit more so I'm hoping he comes back in the following books. I've been flying through this series and I'm scared what will happen when I reach the last book. I really want to read another teen/middle grade series such as this one so PLEASE RECOMMEND IT TO ME in the comments down below :)

I can connect to this book because when I was on a Criuse traveling around the world. We came across a Island that was schdueled for the trip. It was called Honduras. As me and my family was their we was searching for my ancestor which I don't know the name of but his/her last name was yisagiare. We did not find him/her but I learned how to ride a Moped. A gas scooter. I recommend this book to people who ever put their mind to something and didn't succed to it but still got something out of the expierence. It will show you that even though you failed in your plan, you will still learn from that journey. I'll give this book a 5 because it taught me that everything you plan to do, it won't always happen and turn out the way you planned. But you will still learn how to do something on your way to complete your plan.

Georgia is again wrestling with romantic troubles, and this time there are three contenders: Masimo, Robbie, and of course Dave the Laugh. She's disappointed to find that her trip to America takes her nowhere near where Masimo is, and she gets to have a great time with her embarrassing family. Her friends at home support her ridiculousness and go to great lengths to give her romantic advice. (And by the way, "boy entrancers" are fake eyelashes. She is talking about her cat eating them.) Picked up this book after taking a short break from the series. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly it went. The last book before this seemed to drag a bit for me, but that may have been because I needed a break. I think Georgia is finally coming into her own. The humor was a bit more mature in this one and I appreciated that. I've said before that I probably would have loved these book had they been around when I was 15, but I'm losing something reading them at nearly 40. Ultimately, not a lot happens in this story and nothing is truly resolved; it is just a weeks-long snapshot of the life of an English 16-year-old girl. The pleasure comes from Georgia's narrative voice and her highly idiosyncratic use of the Queen's English (if such it can be called). Think "Bertie Wooster as a modern teen-ager". The audiobook is read by the author, so I know what I heard was absolutely authentic in terms of what she wanted us to hear.

01 December, 2016 Meh. I am tired and crabby, Georgia Nicholson has made me go from a happy person to a mentally exhausted person in roughly 4 hours. Quite the accomplishment. This is meant to be a comedic novel, no? I laughed once. Georgia is a horrible little snob and I am at a loss as to how she actually has any friends.
