I wanted to like this because I loved The Flash and Green Lantern: Brave and the Bold team up about Barry and Hal. It was an okay plot but I was a bit disappointed. For starters, I hated how this story does nothing to really develop Wally and Kyle's animosity towards one another and turn them into friends. It irks me a bit because Kyle became Green Lantern in 1994 and this story came out in 1997 and nobody had bothered in all that time finally have them become buds. It irks me a bit because Kyle became Green Lantern in 1994 and this story came out in 1997 and nobody had bothered in all that time finally have them become buds. In fact, I don't think any comic ever really focused on what eventually made them become friends. But what really irritated me was the wasted story arc focusing on Jay Garrick apparently dying. It was very hollow and seemed to be there just to show how deeply Alan Scott and Jay are friends that he would risk his own health to save Jay. The one thing I did enjoy however, was the interactions between Jay and Alan towards Wally and Kyle. Other than that, the story was just meh.

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. This book was very enjoyable for me to read. One funny part was when The flash and Green lantern were both chasing Savitar (the villain) and the flash gets knocked down by a flock of seagulls. Green lantern managed to catch him eventually , but the flash unfortunately had a broken arm and leg. I was cracking up. It is clearly evident that this book is funny.
