I loved the characters and the storyline, but there were portions that felt tedious at times. The author is a favorite of mine.

I loved this book. I enjoyed watching Matthew lose his resolve to swear off women in matters of love, as he searched for a reason to help Eve at the request of her Uncle, Harry Blackwell. He's affected by her and then unaffected. He's hot and cold and then HOT. I did, however, become a little frustrated with the way the "mock marriage" started out because she seemed to have such a distaste for him that I did not share. It did something for my connection to her. As she warmed up to him we fell in I loved this book. I would classify "Hidden Agenda" as a book that can be reread and be equally "Caliente". I have three books in the nightstand by my bed because they are that good. "Hidden Agenda" is one and "Vows" is another, from Rochelle, for Joshua Kirkland who is referenced briefly in this book. Rochelle has a creative way of introducing future characters who may appear in other books but piques your interest in current ones. Joshua made an introduction to me in Hideaway with Martin Cole. From there I was all in.

Mateo and Eve, a tale of integrity A mother's devotion to her child leads her to accept a fate that would be filled with uncharted territory. The relationship of Matt and Eve is not conventional. It is filled with so much tosses and turns that you much continue to read to determine if and how they would make it. Fiercely independent loyal loner is how one would describe Matt. Yet barriers are broken when Eve penetrates his heart. Government officials having deep dark secrets. Ms. Alers books seems to be either hit or miss with me, mainly miss. The one thing I loved about the book was the cover, it's damn hot other than that I was annoyed reading this. How many times and different ways do I need to be told how "feminine" the main character is?? And she is supposed to marry some guy to help her find her kidnapped son? Don't get that part. She can't stand him then page break! It's a month later and they both fell in love. I'm sorry but where was I when that happened?? Would have loved to know how that came about, that is one of the best things about romances after all, the progression... It just seemed rushed to me.

The Hideaway Series is great and I love reading the stories. Its amazing how in reading the story from the beginning and then reading the stories on how each of this kids get married and have kids, then to moving onto their kids getting married and having kids of their own. I hope this series will continue to go on and on. I will still be entralled by their sense of family as well as their commitment and dedication to each other.

First of all how dare the uncle use a child as bait to get a criminal that he wants. I was shocked as hell when all of that came out. Although all the name changes and the Spanish was a little bit confusing for me.
