I WITCH-serien lærer man 5 piger at kende. Sjovt nok som Spice Girls, havde/har alle deres yndlingskarakter. For mig var det altid Will, som jeg bedst kunne identificere mig med. Men jo mere, jeg lærte om de andre, jo mere blev jeg også glad for dem. Serien er nu blevet trykt som bøger og det er rigtig fedt, for den er velskrevet og passer utrolig godt til målgruppen (10-14 år) og ældre, høhø. Det er spændende fortællinger med magi, håb og et utroligt stærkt venskab. Samtidig handler det også om almindelige ting som familieliv og at gå i skole, selvom magien selvfølgelig er i centrum. Jeg vil varmt anbefale denne serie. Den minder mig om barndom, sommer og at vente spændt på postmanden i starten af hver måned.

Irma is definitely a funnier the narrator than Will, but I also felt this book suffered a little from pacing issues, it took us a long time to get to the "final battle". All in all it's a decent little book. I liked it! I was around 11 when the first W.I.T.C.H comic magazine hit Denmark. I thought it looked interesting, and fell in love with it. I later got this book as a gift from my Grandfather (along with Will's story). Growing up with this, it is hard not to like it. I just re-read this today, and even though I can definitely feel the W.I.T.C.H fandom, has had its run, I still very much enjoyed this book. It just took me back to the memories of feeling the music myself, and feeling like I should cry, because it I was around 11 when the first W.I.T.C.H comic magazine hit Denmark. I just re-read this today, and even though I can definitely feel the W.I.T.C.H fandom, has had its run, I still very much enjoyed this book. It just took me back to the memories of feeling the music myself, and feeling like I should cry, because it was so very well described, the way Ked's music was just supernatural. Even though I definitely loved this book, much more when I was younger, there is still some likings for the book lingering around. And the level of nostalgia I got from reading this, eleven years later, was just magical. I love re-reading books I enjoyed as a child, and just feel nostalgic about it. Very easy language, quick and well-flowing pacing, and overall easy to finish in one sitting. Very descriptive, and I love how all of these show-case W.I.T.C.H stories are written in first person, and really just puts you into the mind of this ONE character. It feels like you know them a little better then, and I guess if I was still a fan, and still collected the comics, I would love reading this, as much as I love reading my YA fantasies, and Sci-fi. Still, despite me going 23 soon, this book and its universe, has not faltered, and does not bore me, or make me feel like "I'm too old for this". Because I know the truth about stories and books: you are never too old for them.
