    ELDORADOThe name ELDORADO reminds me of a John Wayne western. And the poem, oddly enough, is about a gallant knight riding and searching for the land of ELDORADO. But as he grows old and loses his strength, he comes upon a shadow who directs him..... "Over the mountains ~ Of the moon ~ Down the valley of the shadow ~ Ride, boldly ride." After a bit of research, found this was one of POE'S final poems published in 1894 around the time of the gold rush and the shadow possibly a ghost leading a d ELDORADOThe name ELDORADO reminds me of a John Wayne western.
