This is a exceptional and heart wrenching book about Fr. Ron Camarda's time in Fallujah as the only chaplain for 10,000 plus American troops during the Battle of Fallajuh. While Fr. Ron's writing is very religious his message to me was more about humanity and being present for all of the troops regardless of their religious affiliation or whether the we're religious at all. Fr. Ron seems like the type of person every parent would want by their child's side if their child went to war. This is a exceptional and heart wrenching book about Fr.
