PG-RATED FUN Time travel doesn't really happen. Does it? Jennie's beginning to wonder when she and her ex-fiancé seem to be pulled into an Old West painting--right in the middle of a guns-blazing bank robbery. She doesn't know how it happened to begin with, or how they'll get back, and neither Jesse James nor the marshal seem inclined to give them a chance to find out. 2.5 This was a cute story, but I wanted to like it more than I did. I liked the plot and how Jenni and Bryce had been torn apart a year previously only to be reunited while they were thrust back in time. They have to rely on each other and build trust again in order to hopefully return to the present time. When I think of Jenni and Bryce’s relationship the first word that comes to mind is confused. I was confused with what had separated them a year before. I kept thinking all would be explained as the story went on, but by the end I was still confused. We’re just given little glimpses into what happened. I would have preferred a prolog with maybe a scene from their breakup, which would have provided not only background info, but a clear understanding of why they broke up and what roles Suzanne and Bryce’s father actually played. Besides being confused about their history, I just didn’t care for Bryce that much. Again, I kept hoping his character would grow as the story progressed, which I guess he did, by a tiny bit. His outlook on life and how he carried himself just rubbed me the wrong way. Not to mention how easily he found it to spend stolen money. Just because they didn’t originally steal the gold, doesn’t mean its okay to start spending it. Also, while it’s clear he is physically attracted to Jenni, I wanted to see him actually fall in love with her. Their reconciliation was much too quick and they didn’t address any of the serious issues of their breakup, at least not to my satisfaction. Jenni was a likable enough character, although I thought she was much too quick to forgive Bryce. And considering their history there is NO WAY I would have said “I love you” first. But, that’s just me. Overall, it was just okay. Content: Clean, PG.

I was very disappointed. I LOVED the storyline and basic plot(the whole reason I bought this book), but didn't like the many references to breasts, the random swear word at the end, and just all of the smoking and drinking. They spent a lot of time fighting and running and lying (which is to be expected when you time travel). I was expecting a cleaner relationship, a whole lot less innuendo, and more humor. I really wanted to like the book, but was more disappointed. I expected better. I was very disappointed. Suspension of disbelief This book took a lot of suspension of disbelief. It was more adventurous than expected, but had the qualities I enjoy in Heather Horrocks books: it's clean, has humor and good characters and is fun to reas. I started reading thinking I would read for a few minutes before bed. What a mistake! I could not put it down. Thanks Heather! I love your books and Old Money did not let me down. I loved the twists and turns. Unlike other readers, I found this a very wholesome story that I would recommend to my mother!

What I liked about it: over all it was a good story and I loved the twist at the end. What disliked about it: it was rather slow in parts and there were some inconsistencies that drove me nuts. Re-readable: probably.

I totally agree with Tamera W. and what she wrote about this book. I could copy what she said word for word.

I had a lot of fun with this one. There was more emotional depth with this one. The romance also had more to it. Great read!

This book is filled with action, adventure, and clean sweet romance, mix all of that with time travel and what's not to love? This book is filled with action, adventure, and clean sweet romance, mix all of that with time travel and what's not to love?

Time travel is always fun...but this one ended up falling a little flat to me with the romance.
