The Will Eye Manual is mostly text with a few photos. It seems that the only good photos are on the cover, three. Instead of to the point differential diagnoses, the content is too detailed for it to be useful to primary care providers. The focus of the book seems directed to a subspecialist in ophthalmology. It covers very poorly common clinical areas like conjunctivitis. Chapter five deals with Conjunctiva/Sclera/Iris/External disease (about 15 pages) only offers 14 small images, most of littl The Will Eye Manual is mostly text with a few photos. Chapter five deals with Conjunctiva/Sclera/Iris/External disease (about 15 pages) only offers 14 small images, most of little clinical utility. I do not recommend this book to primary care providers. There are some significant text errors. For instance, "Hyperventilation into a bag to induce a respiratory acidosis and subsequent vasodilation" is wrong in that hyperventilation leads to hypocapnia, respiratory alkalosis.
