Both characters weren't as interesting as they used to be. -Misa was still the best character. I loved how much Rem cared for her and looked out for her, it was really sweet. -I was glad Matsuda lived, he reminded me of a male Misa, he was so funny and cute. -Really loved the ending with the chase for Higuchi/other Kira.

Can't wait to read volume 7!

The investigations about the new Kira continue, with many twists and a pace that becomes faster. There are less mental games between Light and 'L', thing that appeared a bit too heavy in the recent volumes and I think this book will mark another turning point in the story. Death Note is something I started because I was recommended it by someone who I value their opinion. But my expectations for this series has not been turning out to what my reaction is while reading it. And don’t take -that as a bad idea, because the series is so much more than I had hoped for. This series has taken me on a whirlwind of adventure with different characters who all bring something new to every volume. Like mentioned in an earlier review, I felt that the manga might end soon but the Death Note is something I started because I was recommended it by someone who I value their opinion. But my expectations for this series has not been turning out to what my reaction is while reading it. And don’t take -that as a bad idea, because the series is so much more than I had hoped for. This series has taken me on a whirlwind of adventure with different characters who all bring something new to every volume. Like mentioned in an earlier review, I felt that the manga might end soon but there is always something waiting to keep me in its grasp and holding on. Light and L are still working together and now they are trying to unveil the new Kira that has appeared inside this business whose main goal is to take out their competitors and rise to the top. However the idea of risking lives is not becoming something Light, L, and the other members of their group to discuss and see if risking the lives of a couple individuals is okay if it means ending the reign of a compulsive killer. There are so many twists and turns in this series that whenever you think something is going to happen something out of the blue pops out and it seems to be that the people in the book who start to have control of the Death Note are becoming more and more sinister. It just blows my mind to think of the power these people have and what they do it. Overall this is a manga that I recommend you check out and see where it will take you. I am highly enjoying it and will see it till the end. Happy Reading!

Jeez, It's almost scary how we predicted this. That sums up the situation L and Light made to catch "The New Kira." Honestly, except that I didn't feel much absorbed in this volume. This Yotsuba story arc was stretched for way too long. I've never taken this much time to complete a volume in my life. It also doesn't help when you got characters like Misa and her dreadful personality to torture you occasionally. There was also something a bit disturbing in how much nitpicking goes on in everyone's plans, especially L and Light and how they dissect everything. I sometimes felt like they overexposed things that could have been left to the reader to analyze. Yours truly, Lashaan | This Yotsuba story arc was stretched for way too long. Luckily Light's father is the head of the Japanese National Police Agency and leaves vital information about the case lying around the house. With access to his father's files, Light can keep one step ahead of the authorities. But who is the strange man following him, and how can Light guard against enemies whose names he doesn't know? As you can expect by my rating this was fantastic! I can't say much about this particular volume as it is the 6th, but I would highly recommend the manga & anime of this series.

    - It's getting better! The suspense is definitely up! - L and Light make a great team. It is too bad they were destined to be enemies. - Misa is pretty clever, but also pretty dumb. I can't figure her out. - Rem is a girl!?!?!? - I have a feeling that Light and Misa are going to get their Death Note's back. - I like Wedy; she is really cool. - Sometimes the art changes style, and I don't know why. - It's getting better!
