Waist-Deep In Walmart...*sigh* what a shame. This started out really well. The first half of the story took place during the three days when they were trapped inside Walmart with a raging hurricane wrecking havoc on the outside world. I really loved that part since the characters were really funny and entertaining and the romance was just adorable. In my opinion however, the story met its downfall the moment they got out of Walmart. Some of the following chapters were boring as hell. The story s Waist-Deep In Walmart...*sigh* what a shame. I really loved that part since the characters were really funny and entertaining and the romance was just adorable. In my opinion however, the story met its downfall the moment they got out of Walmart. Some of the following chapters were boring as hell. The story started to become such a drag. Also, new characters were introduced and the main character, Anthony, just became pretty bland for me. Well, because, let's get real people. Julius was the most interesting character from the entire story even though they never got together with Ellie. Juju brought life to every chapter he was in and I badly want to read a story where he's in the spotlight. Aside from those things, I also had a lot of problems with this story. Some of the character descriptions were inconsistent like the color of Julius's eyes and the name of the University they attended. I also learned in school that having a hurricane and an earthquake occur at the exact same time was scientifically impossible. Some of the characters also ticked me off. Their humor sometimes comes out offensive and sexist and Anthony switches from being really sweet to being an asshole. You could also tell that it wasn't edited because there were spelling errors in almost every chapter. Jordan, I love your writing, but I'm sorry! This just didn't turn out well for me. Overall, I'm giving this story two stars because as short as it may seem, I almost hadn't been able to finish it. Give me a story with Grandpa Juju as the lead (if there isn't one yet) and I'll thank you forever!

1/5 ☆ I don't like this book. And I'm totally disappointed cause I like the other books of Jordan Lynde's that I've read. This story is so cliche and predictable. And the story dragged for way longer than necessary. The female protagonist is so childish and although I liked the male lead at first, I found him irritating later. He continuously teases her like some jerk-face to a point where it's no longer funny. So many things in this story are repetitive. They keep having the same conversations, 1/5 ☆ I don't like this book. And I'm totally disappointed cause I like the other books of Jordan Lynde's that I've read. It was alright I think I had a problem halfway through because an additional love interest was introduced and i started rooting for that character. I Did like the first part when they were trapped in Wal-Mart but then as soon as they got out I should have stopped reading.

It was actually really good at the beginning when they were stuck inside Walmart and how their friendship grew as they found out more about each other than what they already know, via Julius. It was funny at some parts and really cute at others. It was a shock for me to find out that they could've escaped the moment they were locked in through a door that Anthony knew...So that had been interesting. It was also a surprise to find out that Anthony already knew she lied about her age. But a few chapters after they escaped Walmart, it became quite boring, quite like most romance stories. That was the only reason it was a four star, but other than that, it was great!

Super cute but had a handful of problems. 1) completely useless love triangle. It was just stupid 2) it could be shorter, there was so much useless info 3) I kind of wish there was more time for them to be trapped to know each other more 4) Julius and Caroline should have been a couple in my opinion. It was really predictable and at points I thought it got kind of slow. Cute though.

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. I hate how Anthony and Ellie ended up together. I hate how Julius moved to Spain. I hate how Anthony knew there was a way to get out of Walmart but didn't say. I hate how he's SO DARN CUTE. Okay, rant over. So, what did I think about the book? 3 stars, because I'm upset about the ending. Childish, yes, but the fudge, it's my review, so yeah. Also, before I read this book. I decided to look at the reviews. To be honest, I was a bit put off because everyone was saying the first part of the book was okay, then when Anthony and Ellie got out of Walmart it went down-hill from there. I don't totally agree. Firstly, we were introduced to other characters, i.e Julius, who was the OPPOSITE of boring. I admit I just skimmed the last 5 chapters because I was getting impatient, and on the second-to-last one I skipped to the last chapter.... Not the point. Random question: Did anyone else notice how when Anthony and Ellie were alone, their conversation SOMEHOW included Julius? Proof: "Even if it makes me late," he promised confidently. "Although, I'd be wary of Julius. One time he led me to the opposite side of campus, claiming that my class was there, while in reality, it was on the other side I was on." SEE?! And they were MEANT to be on a date! Only them too, yet Julius SOMEHOW makes an appearance! Not that I mind, of course. So, yeah. #TeamJellie PEACE LOVE

I really disliked this book. The first few chapters were alright and even funny at times. But the more I read, the more I thought "well this is so cliché and predictable". The plot is interesting but it could have been better with some twists to keep me from boredom. I have mixed feeling about the characters: - Ellie: hated her from the beginning. She is very childish and stupid (3 months younger than your brother. Really now?). I feel like she only knows one line, kind of like Hodor in Game of Thr I really disliked this book. She says it at least 10 times per chapter I'm not even kidding, it's so annoying. (Am I the only one who was bothered by that) - Anthony: At first I liked him, he was funny and nice but then he started getting annoying af too. He's rude, immature and he's kind of narrow-minded in my opinion. Sometimes he's a jerk. Sometimes he's funny. Overall, the characters lack depth. How did they even fall in love in the first place? I have no idea. They don't know each other well. The only character I like is Julius, he's funny and chill. I'm glad he didn't end up with Ellie. It's really cheesy, some scenes are absurd and make no sense. It was an ok read. It wasn't torture.

It was hilarious, but after the first few chapters....it kinda got pointless. I think writing this as a short, instead of a story detailing on the relationship, would've been better. For starters I loved the concept of the book and the writing (except for the occasional grammatical errors which kinda irked me). And yes I’m aware the storyline does get a bit predictable but it was overall really cute and a fun read.

In Waist-Deep in Walmart by Jordan Lynde takes place in Massachusetts. I found this book through the app on my phone called wattpad and it seemed very interesting through the description. The main characters are Ellie and Anthony. Anthony is a worker in Walmart but was locked in with Ellie when she snuck in. Ellie In Waist-Deep in Walmart by Jordan Lynde takes place in Massachusetts. The main characters are Ellie and Anthony. Anthony is a worker in Walmart but was locked in with Ellie when she snuck in. Ellie secretly liked Anthony though. Durning their time locked in Walmart during a hurricane they experience obstacles with each other. In the beginning, she may have been very shy with him and he may have been very clueless about her but after spending days in Walmart with her they came to like each other. I actually liked how the book ended because they ended up together and were very comfortable with each other because of what they went through. My favorite part of the book was when they were both in Walmart and played hide and seek/ nerf gun wars in the dark. It was my favorite part because that was when they both started to like each other. Even though they may have kind of started off as strangers they became friends then partners over a short period of time. In my opinion, I would recommend this book to a lot of people because it has many plot twists and makes you feel like actually sneaking into Walmart when in a hurricane because of all the possible things you could do. It also has many plot twist and keeps the book interesting so you won't get bored. I like how there are many plot twists and can be fun and interesting so I would recommend to people who like romance. This book may also seem a little cheesy at times so warning.

*This is story is available on Wattpad. First and foremost, I must say that I'm not rating this as if I were rating a book. I'm rating it as a free story on Wattpad. It is not a book. Now I have to admit, I love the whole concept of being trapped somewhere for a period of time, and when I saw the blurb I had to read it. See Blurb in bold. I became a little skeptical after reading various reviews saying that it was really good at first, but that the last couple of chapters went downhill. So the farther along I got in the story the more anxious I was to see what everyone was talking about. And you know what, it wasn't that bad. I think the main problem was that after Anthony and Ellie got out of Walmart and the location and their activities changed, people didn't find them as likable. I also don't think that Anthony and Ellie made a bad couple. A lot of people would have preferred Julius & Ellie together, but I don't think that would have worked. I'll give that Julius was the most likable character, and how could he not be when he's being hyped up from the beginning, but even though he liked Ellie he was ,in my opinion, too annoying and brother-ish to Ellie for them to have a good couple relationship. My final rating? 3.5 stars.

This was the first book of Jordan that I read. The story was kinda... cute. I still find it kinda funny that Ellie's mom would send her for toilet pater in a hurricane. Can you believe? :P But, it's good that she did cause otherwise, she wouldn't be stuck in there with Anthony aka the guy she's had a crush on for the past two months! I have to admit I loved the "stuck in wallmart " part alot. That's definitely a creative idea. But, it was not. The story continued after they came out as well. I felt that the story was kinda stretched even though it was only 25 chapters. I think it should've just focused on the part in Wallmart and maybe an epilogue afterwards. But, it was a good read. I'm glad that I came across this story and that I read it.

OH MY GOD!!!! THIS WAS THE BOOK THAT GOT ME OBSESSED WITH JORDAN AND HER WORLD! Eeeep! Just everything about this book is great! The only critique I have is that the ending felt kinda dragged out and long. Like, I liked hearing them in Walmart and them with Julian and Mason (I wish we got to know him a little better, too) but it felt like a little too long. But despite that, OMGGGGGG. Anyone who wants a lighthearted, funny read should read this!

I enjoyed the first part a lot, and I was constantly smiling at my tablet, but the second half wasn't that great. The characters annoyed me a little bit (Julius annoyed me more than a little bit), and they were, in my opinion, too immature for their age. But still, this was an okay read, and I've seen a lot worse from professional writers.
