Just ok—I’ve read other books with content related to this subject that were a lot better written. Not sure about the earlier review mentioning short stories —the copy of the book I read did not have short stories.

That is a reason why I like this book so much. I think that this short story is relatable because the boy Zack loves to play sports. I love to play sports. His favorite sport is Lacrosse. Mine is softball, now I know they are two completely different sports, but the thing is we both love to be out and playing sports. “I love being a goalie (…)” Izzy Costa November 30, 2015 Period 3 Short Stories 10 “The Hate Crime” In this short story, “The Hate Crime” by Phyllis Karas, this is very relatable. I love playing the position of a shortstop. Another reason why I like this book is because it was short. I can’t ever read a book for a long time, so I liked this because it was so short. I could read the book within a time period. The book was also short but action packed. It wasn’t ever boring. In my opinion, I like this book because it talks about lacrosse, in other words, sports. This book was a mystery and also a comedy. Some parts were interesting then other parts had me wondering. Lastly, I liked this book because it was a short book.
