I am particularly interested in chapters 3 and chapters 5. The former deals with the interactions among Iranian and "Arab" populations in the Gulf. The latter deals with the emergence of "Bahrain". The author discredits many of the stories that surround Shapur II's brutality in his Eastern Arabia campaigns, claiming that they were mostly an incomprehensible exaggerations.
