One of the most powerful Dark Shadows audios I have listened too so far! Whilst on a girls night out, Carolyn is having fun at The Blue Whale but a dark sinister force is at work here and it's coming for Carolyn and soon she might lose everything, her friends, her family, even her life but at her own hands! This was an incredibly moving character piece with some shocking twists and turns and I like how it progress' The Dark Shadows story. It really develops Carolyn as a character from being a drunken childish rich girl to a determined and brave one. Jonah was a good villain in this being very menacing and at times quite disturbing. Nancy Barret and Christopher Ragland really gave it their all in this with some incredibly powerful performances and the rest of the cast were great too. This story was so delicately well written with a incredibly well realized concepts but still being a powerful character piece for Carolyn. Defintely one of the finest Dark Shadows audios I have listened too so far! 10/10

This was an interesting look at Carolyn and the choices she (and by extension, we) have made in our lives and the impact those choices have. This is supposed to take place in 1973, but Carolyn, of course, sounds much older. Not sure why they didn't set it closer to today's date. Very, very interesting. The Dark Shadows story progresses! I knew Big Finish was leading up to something with the last few entries, having Carolyn Stoddard being the drunk little rich girl. The Flip Side is definitely a turning point for the character. Love the reference to the jukebox at the Blue Whale having the same songs for years! Performances: Nancy Barrett is fantastic, and Cody Quijano-Schell's script allows her to do pretty much everything here (drunk Carolyn, confused Carolyn, angry Ca Very, very interesting. All in all, a very enjoyable hour of listening, with a few goosebumps to keep you company!
