THREE & A HALF STARS--"Fierce Heat" in a few words? Smutty, sci-fi, animal loving, tiger shifter, a little cheesy at times, interracial, voluptuous, MMF goodness. Roar! Very hawt. Very, very hawt. Whew, boy. Before I say any more, those who don't fancy m/m or m/f/m should proceed no further; this isn't the book for you. Those who like or don't mind those things should proceed with all haste! This was short-ish, but complete. The characters *are* surprisingly fleshed out (pun definitely intended) for how short the story is. I do have two comments (they're not quite complaints...they're just things that are noteworthy) 1. The trio falls into their arrangement *very* quickly. So quickly, in fact, that I had to re-read the section to see whether I missed anything... 2. There's no real "bad guy." Sure, there's a bad-ish guy, but he's dispatched of so laughably easily that he shouldn't even count. But anyway, I like the way Isic knows the intimate details of Ferr's personality, enough to be able to coach Amara through a few things that could've been major plot misunderstandings. Ferr is indulgent, and Amara seems to like each man for who he is -- she doesn''t play favorites. For those of us who love a little PR erotica, shape shifters (the not-wolf kind), and some good-old fashioned bonding and mating, this is a great read.

Very Different / Love the Sci-Fi Aspect Amaya is a beautiful bbw who has dedicated her life to saving the animals of Earth. Enter the unbelievably sexy genetic modified (human/Bengal tiger combination), Ferr & Isic who are bonded mates who want cubs. Will she bond with them? Honestly, i could have read a longer story & hope that Celia Kyle & Lizzie Lynn Lee get together & write more! In spite of my "need" for more it's a short story that didn't lack backstory, humor, excitement & hot menage (MMF) Very Different / Love the Sci-Fi Aspect Amaya is a beautiful bbw who has dedicated her life to saving the animals of Earth. Threesomes are not my thing, neither is m/m, and novellas aren't worth the money, they always leave me wanting. I have found the exception however, this book piqued my interest with its descriptive wording and concise storyline. The story revolves around two shifter lovers Isic and Ferr after an interspecies war. Homeless and hotly in love with one another warriors land on a spacestation where they meet Amaya, their third half. Then the book gets fiercely hotter. But this is a great read that I would recommend to anyone that loves well written erotica.

ok, but different This was a little different from other shifter books. It more intergalactic. And the shifters were created through genetic modification. It felt like something was missing from the story. The plot was good though.

This story just dragged on for me. It was more of a telling than showing. And if you're going to have physical distractions of your characters in the book, at least make sure the characters on the cover resemble them. Cause except for the tiger, I didn't see a similarity. A good sci-fi romance is difficult to make believable. Or at least resemble belief. These authors did just that though. I loved how Amaya was trying to rebuild the animal population on a space station. And it was really helpful This story just dragged on for me. It was more of a telling than showing. And it was really helpful to her that the gen mods, Isic and Ferr, were able to communicate telepathically with the animals as well.
