Austin Parker tried not to take anything too seriously. After getting out of his crappy trailer park on the back of his alcoholic father’s bike, he spent two years travelling around the country before finding the Iron Raiders. Ellie and Austin have never gotten along. She can’t deny how attractive he is, but his couldn’t-care-less attitude when it comes to the club that raised her drives her crazy, as does his penchant for one-night-stands. But when a night of drinking leads to her waking up in his bed, she’s the one who can’t leave fast enough. Austin, for the first time in his life, can’t get her out of his head, and he decides to pursue her. Meanwhile, outside forces start to threaten the club, and it will take everyone to ensure the future of the Iron Raiders. As Austin begins to fight for the only things he’s ever wanted, it will take everything he’s got to prove his loyalty, to the club and to Ellie.

So much happen too fast in this story.

This book was so confusing. It made absolutely no sense. The story evolves too quickly and the scenes were way too short. Also I didn't see any spark between the characters. For me, this was a story on crack! It made no sense and there was no chemistry between the two main characters.

Review is based on a free copy. Since getting this I have not been able to find it listed on Amazon. This was a different read. As if it started out as a suburban story about a brat girl with daddy issues. Then somewhere it turned into a biker story, just not a great one. I have a higher standard about MCs, Gangs, Seal teams, and the like. You need to make your Seal’s Alpha, your gangs lawless, and your MCs respectful. If not they are in a Sunday sewing circle, not a hard driving MC. For me too m Review is based on a free copy. Since getting this I have not been able to find it listed on Amazon. If not they are in a Sunday sewing circle, not a hard driving MC. For me too many things didn’t ring true with this story leaving me a little confused. The female lead seems way to ungrateful and disrespectful to be the daughter of the leader and is treated like a whore. In real life I have seen ‘old ladies’ who have been known to take on 5 guys while being watched and are still treated like royalty by both other members and rival gangs. Could there be an MC somewhere with a dynamic like this story? Yes, but it would be one you wouldn’t want to read much about. The shortness of this story could be the reason for the above issues. A lot was crammed into a little space leaving characters to appear shallow, the plot to be a little crisscrossed as to where it’s going, and the MC feel to be off. I give it three stars for the free MC read, but would not follow this crew into more stories at $2.99 like most other series do.

Didn't know what this book was meant to be about, just couldn't get into it. Surprised I even finished it! Didn't know what this book was meant to be about, just couldn't get into it. Surprised I even finished it!

Worth the money? The first is free and the other two, both less than 50 pages long, are $3.99 each! That's $8 for less than 150 pages! I find that ridiculous and totally over priced. (This was read when KU was not available in AUS) Worth the time? No. The characters aren't worth the investment in my opinion. The protagonist is spoilt and childish, and there's not enough depth in them to not see her as vain and shallow, and to be honest ditzy as shit. Cover? There's a man and a woman, although I think they overlooked what looks like a wedding ring on her finger... I think they should have stuck with either the bike that's on the bottom, or the couple, as he has a rather large club tattoo on his back. It probably would have been better to not have the tattoo, or have him chest forward. I do however like the way the name is attached, almost like there’s a strip torn off the picture, nice effect. Rating? 2 out of 5 stars. It wasn't the worst thing I've read in a short story, but really, nothing happened. It was like watching a TV spot for a movie that looks like something you might possibly like, but its not enough to ever make you take the time or money to continue forward with buying the DVD.

I have no idea what the hell this short story was about. Since it was only 31 pages, I'm guessing its supposed to be some kind of introduction to this series but its a poor introduction as we start off with what's supposed to be a very fearful character, the leader of the Iron Sinners, Patrick, but for some reason he can't control his daughter, who is an adult but acts more like a child. Ellie hates being compared to her mother who apparently was an alcoholic prostitute but then she acts just like her, she drinks like a fish and can't control her liquor worth a damn. I don't think she acts like a prostitute but jumping back and forth between two different guys within a 24 hour period just because you're upset at your daddy and his 'road warrior' doesn't really paint you in a pretty light, whether you did something with them or not. This was just too damn short for me to get any further perspective on these characters, not even the sex was good as Austin totally had sex with Ellie while she was...yep you guessed it..DRUNK! Thank goodness this little short was free...

Great beginning of this series and it ends making you want more. Ellie is the sort of daughter of the MC's president, you will have to read it to under stand, wanting to be her own person but cant seem to get that far away from her dad's rules or MC. Austin is a skirt chaser and had his eyes for Ellie for a while. So I wont go any farther, since it will spoil things but this was a great book and cant wait for more. Usually I don't mind short reads, I read them between books when I need a little break, this one though fell a little short. Ellie is a spoiled brat, she got on my nerves a lot.she believes she is a damn Queen also going out with a guy that is in a rival club is a big no no but nobody seemed to mind. Also I did not feel any attraction between Ellie and Austin..They ending was cut off. I expected a little more.. For a short quick read, I really enjoyed this one. Storyline was entertaining and hot. Austin and Ellie play a cat and mouse game as he struggles to watch out for her. Really liked their characters and chemistry.

way too short but that was too bad as I liked the characters and story itself

I really like the characters in this book of Austin and Ellie. Poor Ellie seemed like a bit of a ditz but that just made me laugh. She really didn't have much luck at all until the end.
