This is it... Summary: This is book two in the, A Glimpse into Hell, series. The main character, Seth Coker, has invited a reporter, Wyatt Carter, to go on a road trip across America. Seth takes the man on a journey into his twisted world of vengeance filled with the most unimaginable and barbaric things that could only be found in the deepest and darkest parts of hell. The streets are no longer a safe haven for the wicked with Seth lurking in the shadows of the dark, waiting to bestow the most sadistic and over the top inhumane acts of vengeance that will stagger the mind. Offering up heart-pumping tales of revenge, suspense and horror in all its guises, this book is filled with dark humor, political incorrectness, gruesome and sadistic acts from beginning to end. Warning- may be disturbing to sensitive readers. - Originality – From the sheer ingenuity of the story to the appropriateness of the punishments makes this one of the most original story lines on the market. - Politically Incorrect – If you’re a P.C. type person, do not read this book. This also pertains to rapists, molesters and weirdoes--you'll just get your feelings hurt and leave a low rating with a BS review. - Gruesome and Horrifying - This book is not for the meek. Seth will take you on a journey through his twisted world of vengeance that is filled with the most gruesome and horrifying things imaginable and unimaginable. - Cruel and Unusual - If you like filthy sick, over the top sadistic inhumane acts of revenge that stagger the mind, this book will not disappoint. - Dark Humor - If you like gore and dark humor, this book will make you laugh and gag at the same time. - Suspense - From front to back, The Angel of Death is filled with one intense moment after another that is interwoven in a story line filled with humor. From the horrifying punishments of the mind and flesh to the main character’s unpredictable persona, it will keep you turning the page. - Disturbing - So disturbing that it was difficult for my editor to stomach the content. - Fascinating - The punishments that Seth bestows on deserving criminals are not only very sadistic and gruesome, but cleverly inventive, unusual and shocking as well. - Mind Rape - The sick and twisted images in this book will be implanted into your mind, causing your brain to feel it has been assaulted. A brief comment from the author: I had a certain vision when I started writing The Angel of Death. I knew I wanted plenty of gore and dark humor, similar to The Angel of Vengeance, but I didn’t want to be repetitive and I wanted to portray Seth differently. I wanted him out of the gloomy chamber and mixed in with society. I wanted to humanize him, if possible. This book introduces another major character, Wyatt Carter, who brings Seth’s character to a completely new level. The chemistry between Seth and Wyatt far exceeded my expectations, resulting in a relatable story. From the beginning, this novel took a life of its own. It is a rollercoaster ride filled with mild-to-extreme gore, off-color comedy, dark humor, passion, and the most violent, sadistic and barbaric behavior imaginable. It also turned out to be very long, 635 Kindle pages, which wasn’t intentional, but as I stated, the story took a life of its own. My subject matter and humor is not for everyone, especially criminals (particularly molesters and rapists), and people that believe criminals have rights, or even people that are sensitive to extreme gore. I know this will occasionally cost me a low rating and BS review, even though I posted numerous warnings. In addition, I welcome advice from my readers. I write because of you, so I listen to criticism and praise. I’ve tried to create the best quality read possible, but unfortunately, most of us indie authors don't have the means to hire an expensive editing agency like the mainstream authors/ publishers use, and some of us rely on friends, family, fans and individuals that charge a reasonable fee. I can read a sentence ten times with a mistake, and my brain plugs in the correct word, even if it’s missing, so I’m useless as a proofreader. Even though I used editing software and numerous people have proofread it, there could be some errors remaining. If anyone wants to proofread/ edit my book(s), please email me. If you like The Angel of Death, please leave a review. The more positive reviews, the higher it is on Amazon’s search list, resulting in more people finding it. Another horrifying and well-written gorefest from Mr. Garrett I have read all Wade Garrett's books and I like this one the best because of the character development and the way the story came full circle. Wyatt's character was perfect...a little whiny but not too much, rational and open minded, with a continued humanity even in the face of evil. Can't wait for the next installment!

WARNING: THIS IS AN EXTREME HORROR BOOK... Sex offenders are going to hate this one, but they deserve it. I found myself laughing a lot with this story (I have a sick sense of humor). It does contain some very sick and twisted imagery, probably the worst I have read to date, but it has a great storyline too. Can't wait for more work from Mr. Garrett.

WOW, all four of these books were AMAZING! My first venture deep down into that EXTREME horror dark and dank back alley! I came across these books while I was scouring Goodreads for juicy and refreshing horror recs. Luckily and thankfully my cousin let me borrow hers and activated the 30 day free Kindle unlimited for me cause I'm so clueless. I read them all in about 3 weeks, couldn't get enough of them!! Spent the last week exploring that 'kindleunlimited' library of theirs and it's impressive with all the new EXTREME authors. So Thanks Mr. Garrett, I was a virgin to this whole electronic reading thing and overall genre until you and now I'm playing that field. haha I love Mr. Garrett's writing style and his dark humor. I can tell that he is writing a lot of himself as far as political and humanitarian views go and I agree 100% with those views. * I even got a big chuckle with the whole 'participation trophy' rant because I have used that same speech almost verbatim, to anyone that would let me vent out, when I'm irritated with all the coddling these days. This book is gruesome and bloody and disguising and brilliant. I could picture most of the torture scenes in my head playing out in slow and in quick motion, a few of them were to hard for me to vision though, but I suppose that's only due to my limited mechanical/electrical understanding. I did not get queasy or suffer any sort or nightmares (other kinds of dreams, yes, maybe;) because I wanted all those bastards to suffer, especially the pedophiles and animal killers. I love the why and how he does what he does. Ohh that Seth is boyfriend material alright. He made me cringe, squirm and laugh simultaneously. And of course in my mind he's gorgeous as well. I kept picturing a Gerard Butler type. This 2nd book of the series was by far my favorite with Wyatt and the road trip. They were a great duo, it was sweet and endearing to see how genuine, gentle and patient our vigilante was with him. I hope his next installment has more Wyatt. I believe there will be more books, hope so anyway! Please Wade don't make us wait too long! Much admiration goes out to you with the family, ranch, and day~jobs juggle but still...don't make us wait too long, K?! Lol

Very sick and twisted, but awesome. I loved the first book in this series and didn't think Mr. Garrett could top it, but was I wrong. The Angel of Death has a great storyline and tons of gore and exceeded my expectations. Just like the first one, Mr. Garrett has a way to make you think about moral issues in society. Can't wait for the next book.

He is just as sick and twisted, but his sense of humor really comes alive in this one. I can’t say which one is more gruesome, The Angel of Vengeance or the Angel of Death, but this one has a lot more of a storyline and dark humor. And holy s*&t! What an ending! Can’t wait for the next one from Mr. Garrett. Also, if you are easily offended, have an issue with punishing criminals, PC type person, then do not read.

Once again Wade H Garrett hits the ball out of the park. With Seth's return, this book is just as depraved and funny as the first. I hope Seth returns in more of Wade's books as I really like him as a character and I enjoy being sickened by the punishments he inflicts. Another great book from Wade H Garrett and I can't wait to read more.

That’s the thing I absolutely love about Wades books! I can never guess the ending! I know that the books are really long and full of lots of stories! As to why I can’t stop reading, I just don’t guide know. I helps to read when I’m feeling angry, not saying I would ever do anything like Seth does.. or would want to. I do think that our justice system is unfair but I’m not sure exactly how it could be fixed. I am thinking that less laws being made would be better, as in keeping the government from policing morals and what not. It’s not their job. I also think that the laws target users of drugs unnecessarily, and should focus on helping people.. though not just with medication. I think there is something deeper.. I read “In Sheep’s Clothing” by _______. That gave me a lot of ideas. It’s just the place I am in right now, and I’m not happy with my life or the circumstances surrounding it. I feel so helpless and without any resources or help. I feel like no one understands or cares. Kind of like when Seth says something like: “No one cares about anyone or anything until it happens to them.” And add in the “bystander effect” too. So in a weird way these books are affecting me in a horror fan way and also as a human being, as a person who has been violated. Though I think we all have in one way or another since I’m starting to wonder if people’s characters are changing in a way that’s detrimental to society. The not caring about others, no one helping one another or it’s that the news always reports on the worst shit.. being there is no happy news channel where people are changing the world. I feel like to find those instances are rare and I really have to look, since it’s not happening anywhere near my own life.. but in a way I wonder.. am I helping anyone? Or am I just as self involved as everyone else? And I don’t think it’s just the age of the Internet.. because I honestly don’t watch cable, I rarely ever read the news.. others do so I’m exposed to it in the background but I try to ignore it. Also I don’t talk to anyone either.. in person or on the internet anymore. Mainly because I’m tired of bitching about the same shit everyday..you know like when you feel like you are sick of hanging out with yourself? And I feel like I have nothing to say. So my life consists of reading, art, helping my kids/spending time with them, fighting with husband, seeing Dr every 2 weeks, sleeping, eating, and yeah that’s about it. Not sure you guys really want to know.. but my words have started leaking out whenever I type now..probably from holding it all in. I can say that I don’t agree with everything the character “Angel of Death aka Seth” says and sometimes he repeats himself a little much. I want to know more about “Seth”, the other side of his life.. like Missy for example.. or the stories about his friends! I do agree that I can’t handle the mistreatment of animals and I also agree with Wyatt that Seth is Barbaric! I wonder really where Seth gets his ideas and knowledge from. I noticed the reader get hints like when he builds contraptions and uses CAD to design stuff.. but it’s not quite enough to add up to all he is able to get away with. How did Seth accrue all this knowledge because he had enough to start out with in the beginning of his torture dungeon? It was also nice to see a more humane side of Seth, like when he’d let his “perverts & scum” help out with his projects, or at the end of this story.. when he did something I never thought he would (view spoiler)[ forgive! (hide spoiler)]

So. I gave the first book a four out of five, because the story was pretty good, albeit gory. I read that the author doesn't do "PC", which, yeah, okay. But there's not being PC...and there's being (sorry Seth) homophobic, racist...etc.etc. You can have a writer not be PC in their writing, and have a reason for it. But unlike the first book, this one just felt like a soap box for yelling about issues he has with certain people, and stereotyping others. It was interesting to start, we revisit the character from the first book, which I was excited to keep up with. But in the middle of the book, out of literally nowhere we go on a rant about gays? Why? Where'd that come from? It served no purpose to drive the book forward. It did nothing to create the character. And if I have to read the words "pervert", "sissy" or "scumbag" one more time my poor gay baby brain is going to pop. I'm not offended because of the clear homophobia in this book. It doesn't bother me because it's homophobia. It bothers me because it's literally there for zero reason. When a book drives off the plot to go on a rant about hating another type of person, that's where it loses me. I enjoyed Seth as a character. He was a little weird, very violent, but his story was interesting...and then he went on a homophobic rant (which he tried to pass off as not homophobic because of the word 'phobic' which is literally the default of saying 'I'm not scared I'm just a hateful person) for zero reason. It just made no sense to me, and really drove me away from the character as a person, and away from this author. The gore is fun, as always, I'll give it that. The plot was interesting. I said in my last review the writer is great, and he is, the writing is pretty solid. But you lost me, not because I'm gay and 'oh no my people are being made fun of', but because it served no purpose. He could have went on a rant about how chocolate ice cream is better than vanilla (it isn't) and I'd be equally as 'offended', because it just has no purpose of being there. I've read plenty of books with racist, homophobic, and other hateful undertones, but I can appreciate those undertones as a way to drive a story forward, and give a character context. This...didn't do that.

Mr Garrett's writing style is fast-paced and poignant as usual. He doesn't hesitate to get right into the action. The main character, Seth Coker, is extremely relatable, however sadistic he is. I agree with everything he does as well as his outlook on life, political correctness, justice, religion, etc. This is more than just your average gorefest. It's clear that Mr Garrett writes from the heart. Looking forward to reading book 3 in the series.

My god what have I read?? I was looking for a good horror book and someone mentioned Wade Garrett’s books and wow it’s not my cup of tea but I did read the first two books and they were definitely page turners. I mean I seen it all with my curiosity and he made me scared about a guy like Seth not that I have done anything to have Seth come after me. I ended up liking the whole revenge aspect of the story. Good job Mr. Garrett

Great gore. Really inventive tortures. Brutal and intense and hilarious the ways Seth comes up with to torture people. Almost inspiring as if they’re works of art. Lol. Interesting plot and characters. Only drawback were the right wing talking-point rants Seth went on a few times ... they were a snooze fest.

Gore galore Great gore fest. Just as crazy as the first one. Knew the ending way before it happened but that didn't throw me off one bit. Gotta treat this book for what it is, an excursion off the road of sanity for a little jaunt of bloody fun. Pun intended.

A great part 2 of this series and leaves you at the edge of your seat. Get ready for a ride in the angel of death books.

Wade brought vengeance to a whole new, over the top intensity by combining it with unimaginable sadistic behavior, dark humor and even compassion in a way that redefines suffering and justice. In reality the story line is being played out (in a less disturbing manner, I hope) each day. It made this novel rather terrifying. I have not read The Angel of Vengeance the first book in the series so this style of writing is new to me. I was expecting exhilarating suspense and Wade achieved this early on. I gave this book 3 stars partly because I thought the novel was well written while to some extent predictable (castrations) and short on suspense. The suspense faded when the principle characters retribution became predictable. To inject humor in such sadistic human behavior is easier said than done however the timing was a good reprieve; most of Seth’s and Wyatt’s quips were common slogans. Wade dared to tread where no other writer that I know of had gone before and as a pioneer he opened up a whole new genre. I hope this review is helpful and after I recuperate (get the images out of my mind) I will look forward to another Glimpse into Hell. Andy B

Seth the Angel of Death I for some odd reason starting enjoy Seth and his new and exciting and different ways to come of with torturing a criminal. He is an awesome character and can't wait to start part 3. Only if this was a true story where there was no criminals kinda like the movie the Purge. Awesome book
