Nothing scared Christian Beck more than his brothers finding out that he was gay. How could he ever tell his three big, buff, women-loving brothers that he was into dudes? What if they thought it was disgusting? What if they disowned him? He loved his brothers so much and couldn’t bear to lose them. His only problem? He was in love with his best friend, who was now his boy Nothing scared Christian Beck more than his brothers finding out that he was gay. How could he ever tell his three big, buff, women-loving brothers that he was into dudes? What if they thought it was disgusting? What if they disowned him? He loved his brothers so much and couldn’t bear to lose them. His only problem? He was in love with his best friend, who was now his boyfriend. He wanted to spend the rest of his life with this man. He hated having to hide their relationship, but what choice did he have? It was either hide his relationship or risk losing his family. Shea Dempsey’s life has been turned upside down and inside out. First, his parents and sister were killed a couple years back, leaving him without any blood relatives. Now, the one person who he considered his only family told him that he was in love with him. The only issue? It was his best friend Christian, who’s gay. So when Christian told him that they could no longer be friends, Shea made a decision that would forever change him. He decided to become Christian’s boyfriend, because honestly, he would do anything to keep his best friend, even if that meant switching teams. As their relationship became more involved, Shea realized that he really enjoyed being with men…okay, maybe not all men, but definitely Christian. But he didn’t want to hide what they had together. The only problem was that Christian would not budge on the subject and refused to tell his family about them. Shea didn’t know how long he could live in secret. Will their years of friendship and love for each other be enough? Or will the ultimatum that Shea gives Christian end everything for good?

mixed feelings regarding this "gay for you" romance between two best friends... I think my enjoyment of this book was immediately soured in the opening pages by the "moment of truth" between the couple, and I'm not sure it ever completely recovered. Let's break it down: Christian is the youngest brother in a gregarious family. He is gay, his family is completely unaware of his sexuality, and he is hopelessly in love with his straight best friend Shea. Shea is an orphan, he lost his entire family in mixed feelings regarding this "gay for you" romance between two best friends... Shea is an orphan, he lost his entire family in a house fire a few years back. If it wan't for the support of the Beck family - and his best friend Christian in particular - Shea might not have survived the loss of his family. In the opening pages, Shea and Christian find themselves (drunk) at the wedding of Christian's older brother. With all the love surrounding him, Christian resolves to finally tell his best friend the truth - that he is in love with him. But before Christian can get the words out, Shea drops a bombshell. "You know, I have always wondered what it would be like to kiss you," Shea murmured huskily into the dark, his mouth mere inches from Christian's. Christian's eyes flew open. He was about to ask Shea what the hell he was talking about, but instead Shea kissed him. That sounds like a great book right? Neat set up with the life-long friends? This is going to be beautiful and awesome right? Not really... Right after this forbidden kiss which might have propelled a beautiful love story, Christian decides to say that if he can't be in a relationship with Shea (who I will remind you again is straight) that the pair can no longer be friends. Mind you, Shea has been his BEST FRIEND for over twenty years. "So you're saying that the only way to keep you in my life is to be in a relationship with you? Shea asked, taking a step forward. Christian frowned as he thought about is. "I guess, I don't see any other way," Shea feels like Christian is the most important friend in his life. So faced with the threat of losing his best friend forever... "Then let's do it. If that is the only way that you want me in your life, then I'm going to take it. You are the only family I have, and I can't lose you, Christian. So, if you want me to be your boyfriend, then that's what I'm going to be," he said firmly. That's emotional blackmail. How can you claim to love someone and expect them to change who they are to suit your needs? How can you claim to love someone and push them away like that? I immediately lost respect for Christian for being so selfish and callous. And, I couldn't really respect Shea after that since he just jumped right in and acquiesced to the absurd demand. It didn't really get much better after that... Shea embraces the new relationship, but Christian doesn't believe he would "turn gay" over night (no kidding!) so he keeps expecting Shea to bail... Christian is neurotic to a fault - mood swings, panic attacks, and of course he feels the need to hide his sexuality from his family. There were HUGE dramatic plot twists later in the book which helped to lend some sympathy to the characters, but by that point I was jaded by their ridiculous behavior, and could never really appreciate the characters or their relationship... In addition to all this, numerous errors in the writing dug an even bigger hole for the story to try to climb out of... I read the whole thing; I did not "DNF" this book. There were some adorable moments between the two ( "two-four-three" was a lovely addition) and we get our HEA... If you read the previous books in the Beck Brothers Series and enjoyed them, by all means - read this book. However, if this is your first book in the series, I cannot recommend this book.

1.5 stars. So, I'll start with the positive. This is the final book in a four-book series, and the prior three (which I did not read) were m/f romances featuring three brothers in the Beck family. So, I'll start with the positive. This is the final book in a four-book series, and the prior three (which I did not read) were m/f romances featuring three brothers in the Beck family. The fourth novel features Christian, the baby of the family, who is gay and in love with his best friend, Shea. It is heartening that the author chose to weave the story of a gay brother into a series romance that was otherwise all het -- I think that technique offers interesting possibilities for opening up gay and lesbian love stories for mainstream audiences. Every single one of my political sensibilities stands up and claps when I think of the implications that could flow from this inclusion. Unfortunately, this story left so very much to be desired. The set-up and execution did not work at all. As noted above, Christian has been in love with Shea for a very long time, but the problem is, Shea is (allegedly) straight. So at the beginning of the story, Christian pulls out an ultimatum: I can't handle being around you anymore because it hurts too much, so if I can't be with you, we can't be friends. On the one hand, you sort of get it, but on the other hand, shitty friend much? Dude, take a breather and go find yourself a boyfriend! Well, Shea lost his entire family several years before, so Christian and his family are the only familial relationship Shea has left. So he decides to say, "Screw it. I can't lose them, and if being Christian's boyfriend is how I get to keep them, I can do it." This might be one of the most emotionally unhealthy decisions I have seen in a very long time. So the tale here is "sexuality as sacrifice," and the fact that the author invests in spinning it out largely explains why the novel failed. First of all, this skirted the edge of being offensive. There are enough people out there who think gay men and lesbians are predators. No one who read this could think that Christian was consciously a predator, but one could think that subconsciously, he knew that Shea was vulnerable due to the loss of his family, and by implicitly threatening to deprive him of the only familial structure that remained for him, Christian put Shea in the grip of a nasty vice. I don't think "Christian as predator" is the fairest read of the novel, or even remotely what the author intended, especially when you consider how many times Christian gave Shea the option of walking away and how clear Shea was about wanting to stay, but Shea also made it clear that he was willing to do anything to keep the family relationship. It was just a lucky break that he was already physically attracted to Christian. If he hadn't been, he might have tried, at least once, to suck it up. Moving beyond real-world politics, the author took a relationship that could have been straightforward and made it needlessly complicated. Shea was already bisexual, or at least bi-curious: in the very first scene, Shea made the first move and kissed Christian before he even threw down the ultimatum; he didn't have to add, "I will walk away and never speak to you again since I can't have you." After that kiss, Christian could have gone for the simpler option, and just asked the man out. He could have pursued Shea and seen where the kiss led. It would have made for a storyline that felt more honest and far less forced. In addition, the novel was weak in the sense that the author occasionally wrote Christian like a stereotypical woman. One of his and Shea's fights took me right back to my days of reading m/f romance. It was disconcerting. It was also a little bit odd that a 28-year-old guy who knows for certain that he is gay, and who has a family as supportive as his was, wouldn't come out in this day and age until pushed by his boyfriend (all in the blurb, friends). (view spoiler)[And throwing up every single time he had a panic attack got old really fast. Good Lord. (hide spoiler)] Finally, this book needed more editing, badly. This author's misuse of the present tense was incredibly distracting. There were a few sweet parts, and some "awww" moments. "143" will make you smile if you read it. So will Skylar. But I can't really recommend the book when there is an entire genre of m/m romance written by people who understand gay men and gay relationships infinitely better. I suspect I would have enjoyed this more if I hadn't been reading in this genre for over two years, but I have been. Still, this feels like such a sweet attempt, that I won't even be mean. I'll just be honest. I would encourage the author to keep trying because her heart is in the right place. She just needs to spend more time reading in the genre, and get a sense of how it actually works before writing more books set here because -- as fine as her intentions were -- this book simply didn't work.

OMG, my fellow readers of m/m...don't do it. Put the book down. It was so wrong!! So very many things were just squicky, icky. Christian is in love with his bff Shea. He tells him and can't be around him anymore because it hurts. But wait, Shea decides he'll just be Chris's boyfriend so he won't leave. Not gay, never been gay but apparently he is now! They get into a fight and Chris tells him it's over and that Shea's only with him because he doesn't want to lose his friend so what does Shea do? OMG, my fellow readers of m/m...don't do it. Holy hell, just don't. :/

3 stars! I love to read good M/M romance and after reading description of this one I was so sure it will be one more great one. It sound like a interesting and new book, so why not? Oh, how much wanted it to be so good. And I am sorry to say, but - no. It didn't happen. I will accept that maybe I would enjoy this book more if I read first three parts, about Christian brothers. The characters were okay. Story was okay. Love was okay. Writing was okay. And everything else was JUST OKAY. And I want mor 3 stars! Christian (Beck Brothers # 4) is a fantastic end to a great series. I's the icing on the cake. The cherry on your ice cream sundae. Having Xmas, Easter and your birthday all rolled into one. I give this book an amazing 5 CANNONBECK ★★★★★. This book is about Christian the youngest brother. He's different then the others just as hot as more of a creative side though. Chris's family doesn't know that he is gay since the age of 18 and he is now 28 therefore he has anxiety issues. At Quinn's wedding, Chris and Shea go out to get some fresh air. Shea is trashed and kisses Chris that leads to Chris saying that they can't be friends anymore of Chris being in love with Shea. Shea turns gay for you. In the beginning it all seems a bit odd I get that but we get an insight to Shea and that he has always felt something for Chris and that he has had feelings for him for a while and has always wondered what it would be like. The hotness of this book was off the charts but it also dealt with important issues as in that a lot of people still have issues with gays and lesbians. Ms. Large packed a lot of things into the book that were of importance but it didn't make the book feel cramped. There was something which I didn't expect to happen but that made it so much sweeter. Anne's POV at the end of the book was lovely and how big the Beck family became. Maybe will get books on all the 13 Grandchildren.

I don't even know where to begin. I guess I should first preface by saying that of the four Beck Brothers books, "Christian" has the strongest sexual content and if you are unable to handle homosexual sexuality, then you may find this a difficult book to read. BUT I strongly encourage you to read this final installment. The tale of the Beck Brothers would not be complete without it. With that being said, you cannot help but to fall in love with Christian and Shea. Their story is one for the ages. I don't even know where to begin. With that being said, you cannot help but to fall in love with Christian and Shea. Their story is one for the ages. We've discovered throughout the series that Christian suffers from severe anxiety. In his tale, Christian goes through many transformations that will totally change your understanding of his character. As for Shea, we learn his back story and I can guarantee that your heart will break for him. I don't want to go into too many details as I hate to leave "spoiler" reviews. So all I will say is that when it comes to love stories, this will probably be at the top of your list. This book had me crying, laughing and even holding my breath. That is how raw the emotions are. Andria really out did herself with this one. Even the epilogue tugs at the heartstrings. For her first series, I'd have to say she hit it out of ballpark and I can't wait to see what she throws at us next. Farewell Beck Brothers, thank you for a fantastic voyage!!!

Letting go of The Beck Brothers and this series breaks my heart. It started with Henry, hooked me completely, ended with Christian, and I fell in love with this family a little more with each book. Each brothers story was different, and the writing and story lines as each book was released, kept getting better and better. Christians story found me in tears more than the others. Shea and Christian...I absolutely LOVED their journey. I loved the surprises that I didn't see coming as I read. I (of Letting go of The Beck Brothers and this series breaks my heart. this book was my very first MM/gay read. yay congrats on popping the gay book cherry. The reason I read this though is cause I really loved this series, I always re-read everyone else's book except for Christian's. Well I finally decided to read it, and didn't regret. The Beck family is still one of my top favorite family series to read. I love the light humor in this, and the non-free drama from everything. One Four Three, Andria Large for giving us this wonderful series! I totally loved all the beautiful Beck brothers and fell for each of them when i read there books but ive got to say Christian is my favorite, he and Shea are just the best couple. The sex scenes are beautifully written, they are passionate and sexy as hell. I found this book to be really emotional, when Christian told Shea that he was in love with him and that as Shea didnt return his feelings that there friendship couldnt continue, i thought i was going to be a disaster, my heart hurt for him. But i couldnt have been more wrong, Shea just kind of took it in his stride made the decision to be with Christian and they went from there. I think it was fantastic that as Shea and Christian got closer and there relationship developed the less issues Christian had with his anxiety and when he did finally share his secret with his brothers and family they treated both Christian and Shea with such love and compassion, it just made me smile. The twist with Tara was well played and i loved it, Skylar was such a great addition to the story. My heart was in my mouth with the fire, tears were dripping off my chin, all i could think was god no dont let Shea have to go through that again. The Beck family continue to have a fantastic camaraderie throughout, Sebastian crack me up had me laughing alot, poor Christian at the birthday party, that was one hell of a joke. I totally love the fact that all the Beck brothers get a HEA. I have loved every moment of reading this series and read Sebastian, Quinn and Christian all in two days, i couldnt put them down and would recommend them to anyone who likes a well written love story with a catching gripping plot from start to finish. What more can i say but one click this whole series you will not be disappointed. One four three Beck brothers. ♡

2.5 Stars This is hard for me to rate. If you read my review for you noticed that I am almost strictly a M/M reader. At almost 700 a year I think I'm quite familiar with the genre ;) Yeah, this GFY you didn't work. Blackmail relationships...gotta love them. *sarcasm* The first penetration scene and they are using spit and no condoms. SERIOUSLY?! Nope. NEXT! There wasn't even talk about condoms and Christian wasn't a virgin. In the end though, I ended up believing Shea really did love Christian, 2.5 Stars This is hard for me to rate. I hate to say this, but I think this author should stick with writing M/F. Also, why did we never hear about Shea's family? I mean, we met Shea in Henry's book when he got back from Europe. If he was so close to the Beck's where were they all that stuff went down???? I did love how Sebastian and Quinn were there though. Sebastian and his "brother" comment in the hospital made me lose it. They really are my favorite brothers. With that said, if Christian was closer to Quinn than Henry then why was Henry listed in the Will and not Quinn??? Made me sad to read that. Overall, eh. I read all this entire series in one day, so I read them back to back.

I'll start by saying that while I'm no expert, in my opinion, much better M/M books have been written. In fact, much better books have been written, including books written by this author. I don't know what happened here but I didn't like the way it was written... (can I use the word written too many times)..... The brothers were mean and hurtful and I sincerely hope they were much nicer characters in their own books. I believe this story would have worked without two of the plot twists, but everything was nicely wrapped up up at the end and for that I gave an extra star.

No rating. I haven't read the previous three book in this series and I think that majorly hampered my ability to rate it fairly. 4 Stars Perfect ending to a highly enjoyable series! I cried hard and laughed even harder. It's a rare thing to be so satisfied with the final book in a series. The Beck Brothers will stay with me for a long time to come and may just reign supreme when it comes to book families! I said in my book two review that I couldn't choose a favourite sibling because they were all so fantastic, and they are, but let's be honest, Sebastian stole the whole damn show! So very satisfied!!!

This book was okay. The story was good and I enjoyed Chritian and Shea, but I am not too much into men with men. That didn't deter me from reading this because I loved the Beck Brothers series, I just thought it went into to much graphics on their sex lives. If that doesn't bother you I know you will find this a good read

Truly a great book. I loved that Shea loved his best friend enough to go from being "straight" to in a gay relationship because he would do anything not to lose Christian. I loved all the brothers as well, they were essential to this story. The ending was incredible and I loved that it told about all the families.

So, I don't want to be harsh on any book an author offers for free, but I will say this one wasn't for me. I'm sad bc I LOVE. A good M/M romance. In my opinion this one has the bud of promise but could truly have benefitted from more Betas and/or editors.

I usually avoid books that showcase characters from previous books.Firstly they tend to disappoint by corrupting a perfectly ended story line and secondly they crowd the book to such an extent that the main players are overwhelmed and relegated to the shadows.Fortunately that's not the case here and the book reads just the right side of sappy. All that is required is that you suspend all belief as you follow one man's quest to secure the affections of his best friend in a GFY tale.

LOVE Christian, LOVE Shea and LOVE them together! A beautiful story and a fabulous ending *pulls out Kleenex* to the Beck Brothers series!! I have to start off by saying this... Shea is pretty damn amazing and a quick study. His willingness to immediately put the brakes on everything else and agree to be Christian's boyfriend... just W.O.W! I mean, I realize he had told Christian he was the only guy he's ever found attractive but that is a HUGE change from dating only women prior to now. This is LOVE Christian, LOVE Shea and LOVE them together! A beautiful story and a fabulous ending *pulls out Kleenex* to the Beck Brothers series!! I have to start off by saying this... I mean, I realize he had told Christian he was the only guy he's ever found attractive but that is a HUGE change from dating only women prior to now. This is a change I very much like! Christian and Shea deserve so much happiness!! The "happiness" they experienced in the bedroom was totally hot! The sweet and tender moments are so swoon-worthy but I LOVE the man-handling, strong, powerful ones too! I love how they're equal partners in the relationship. And it's not just in the bedroom that they're equal. They take turns comforting one another when they're at their weakest physically (each were hospitalized at some point) and emotionally (the whole coming out thing and a big surprise later on down the road). It really is impossible to not love Christian and Shea! But man, Christian and his panic attacks just about killed me. The sadness and anxiousness he felt (before he came out to his family) made my heart break. He was literally sick to his stomach when he had virtually nothing to worry about, where his family was concerned. The Beck family has to be the most understanding, accepting, loving, humorous and caring family ever! The things that came out of Sebastian's mouth, not to mention Quinn's, were priceless. " 'She's perkier than normal.' He chuckled 'Quit looking at my woman's chest,' Quinn replied. Christian gaped at him. 'I...I wasn't...' Quinn smiled. 'Relax, Chris, I'm just f*cking with ya,' he said and clapped Christian on the back before draping his arm over his shoulders." It's basically a given with Sebastian but when Quinn does it, I almost feel like it's progress when he makes little jokes about things. He has definitely changed for the better. Thank you Margot! I think I spit out my diet pepsi when... *When Sebastian told the guys what Raelynn supposedly did... Good Lord, I felt bad for Christian but it was such a Sebastian thing to say, you couldn't help but laugh. *Quinn walked in on Christian and Shea- That was fan-freakin-hilarious! I can totally picture Quinn's facial expression and can't help but laugh out loud. Talk about a SUPER-CUTE epilogue! I liked that it was told from Anne's POV and loved hearing about all of the families!! It was very hard to read the words "THE END" but I'm crossing my fingers that there may be Beck kidlet stories in the future!

My Review: Okay, this is definitely a "gay-for-you" trope. Christian has been fighting feelings for Shea for a while, but Shea is straight. Christian has been fighting feelings for Shea for a while, but Shea is straight. Although, Shea is the one to make the first move so he's been curious about Christian for a while...but only Christian. He knows that Christian is gay and that's made him wonder certain things about his best friend. When Christian tells Shea about his feelings and that it's killing him to just be friends, Shea accepts that and says that they should try the boyfriend thing and see if that works out for them. For Shea, he knows that he loves Christian...they've been best friends forever. This is just taking things one more step further...something that he's not opposed to because he trusts Christian. The other real component to this is that Shea's entire family died in a house fire a couple of years back. He's alone in this world now and the thought of losing Christian...well, that isn't even an option that he can consider. Overall, I really enjoyed this book. There was a bit of "every emotional drama that could happen" being thrown into the book at the end, but even all that worked for me. I enjoy friend's to lovers and gay for you stories and this one had the added bonus that Shea is basically part of the entire Beck family. They know and love him just as much as they do Christian. I enjoyed Shea and Christian together and although there were moments where the story was a bit unbelievable, I felt like the author made it work overall. They had their really strong friendship that shone through the entire book. They did truly love each other...as friends, and eventually as more. Shea just never really even considered it before. Once he did, it all fell into place and was the most natural thing in the world because they are so close. I liked the entire Beck clan, but whoa... those older brothers had moments where they could be truly cruel to Christian...seriously, the guy was having panic attacks because of them!?! But there were enough good moments between them that I want to go back and read all their stories now because I did like all of their characters.

OMGGGG! I swear I fckin love you woman!!!! You write these books and I fall so hard!!! Christian was absolute and utter perfection!! Being the youngest Beck brother isn't easy, especially when all your brothers have found the women they're meant to be with. But for Christian it's different. He knew the person he was in love with before even being with them. The only problem was, he was in love with his best friend..Shea. But for Christian it's different. He knew the person he was in love with before even being with them. The only problem was, he was in love with his best friend..Shea. How can Christian tell his best friend that's he's in love with him and not lose him? Well it all goes down at a wedding, after a couple of drinks, and a kiss that changed it all. Shea would do anything as long as he didn't lose Christian. He was his only family left and The Becks were like his family as well. So when Christian told him how he felt Shea decided right then and their, that he would be with Christian, he would turn gay, he would do anything as long as he never lost him. All new relationships go through trials and tribulations. But when your partner is scared to come out to his family what would you do? But certain things happen in life and decisions have to be made. A life changing obstacle forces Christian to man up and tell his family all. But will it be smooth sailing for Shea and him after the truth comes out? I'm in utter and discustingly love with the Beck brothers. Seriously. Like I'm a fckin creep for them lol. I put off on reading Christian for months because I knew once I read this one it would be over. And damnit I didn't want it to be over. I love Henry, Sebastian, Quinn and Christian so much. Along with their amazing spouses and parents this was one of the best series I've read. Andria thank you so much for my Beck boys. I truly will always love them.

When I figured out Christian was gay from the other books, I couldnt wait for his story. I loved how his family accepted him and Shea's relationship. It was beautiful. They were such a cute couple and I love Shea finally admitted his feelings. There was no going back for him. Skylar was a nice addition to their family..too cute. I did feel bad for what happened to her mother though but she should have told Shea from the beginning. Sebastian kept me laughing thoroughout the whole book. The love his has for his brothers just makes you love him even more. All of the Beck bothers are awesome <3. The epilgoue with Anne was great too. She finally realized what she was missing on if she didnt change her ways. I hope we get a novella or something down the line with all of them. I am going to miss this series! Cant wait for more from this amazing author!
