Probably the weakest FF strategy guide I've bought in terms of content, and that's coming from someone who owns multiple FF guides. Poorly written in parts, with no setup or introductory chapter. This guide simply tosses you into the middle of a "battle basics" chapter at the beginning of the book and expects you to understand what's going on. Compared to titles like the FF XII CE guide (which boasted full-color breakdowns of weapons, items and sidequests, along with an art collection that, even though it was meager, was a separate book in itself), this barely passes muster as a regular guide, let alone one with a "collector's" designation. The lithograph is of weak quality and is barely more than a slightly-thick piece of paper with a boring shot of two characters. There is no attention paid to explaining who all of these characters are, what this world is about or what the significance/backstory of any of this is. The material is run through at such a breakneck pace that you'll have a hard time keeping track of what's what in terms of missions and side objectives. Avoid this guide like the plague.

However I'm not a huge fan of guides for games because I feel like you spoil yourself when you read it , this guide was my saviour. In many chapters during the game you will get stuck and be happy you bought the guide. Especially in the last chapter where you'll need to do some tests. When you are on the last chapter of the game I highly recommend to get the book next to you and read first what floor will have what test and make a team based on that information. For example my whole team was focussed on magic and once I entered a floor I got the test not to use any magic. Conclusion? I had to re do everything from my last save game until the point I could change my team again and then finally progress. it's also great to know what chocobo's you better mix to get better chocobo eggs and baby chocobo's and of course what's the best spells/attack/defences you can spend your point on a character. conclusion When are interested in the game Final Fantasy type 0 I highly recommend that you play the game with the guide next to you.

One of the better hardcover prima game guides out there. It is perfect for this type of mission based game. One weakness though is the lack of a good integration of suggesting when to go to the extra dungeons available throughout the story. They are just tucked at the end in the side quest section, when there are plenty of good times to try to go to them on the first playthrough. Otherwise the guide is fantastic to follow word for word through the game. The included maps and tips for how to do s One of the better hardcover prima game guides out there. The included maps and tips for how to do some of the special orders are phenomenal and the tips and tricks for many bosses are vital for success. Lastly the final chapter of the game the guide made it exceptionally easy to be prepared for all the things in that chapter. I loved how the writers avoided putting major spoilers in the guide so that you couldnt happen upon them by reading it.
