Easy to use phrase book I traveled to the Czech Republic before knowing none of the language. A friend coached me on how to say "hello" and the name of our Prague metro station where our hotel was. While I made it alright with English in the tourist areas, I wanted to show more respect to them in greetings and such. Also, not everyone spoke English so I can't rely on that every time. I want to see more of Eastern Europe and I want more phrases to interact with the citizens in their countries. Each language in this book is different in spelling, pronunciation, and even alphabet in some cases, but the phonetic pronunciation guide after each phrase makes it possible to speak and start communicating in the language. With each language in this book. It is broken down into categories where you are likely to use them (shopping, eating, emergencies). It is easy to locate it if you need it right away. This book will be helpful in my travels even if I don't get to use every phrase.
