I have won several of these Jupiter Kids/Speedy Publishing eBooks from the Member Giveaways on LibraryThing. They are sent to me, in exchange for an honest review, so I will talk a little about the story, instead of going on and on about the mistakes made in these. But, when reading these books, do be prepared to encounter a fair share of mistakes, including misspellings, lowercasing names, lack of punctuation, improper punctuation, and the useage of the wrong word (like "through" for "threw", I have won several of these Jupiter Kids/Speedy Publishing eBooks from the Member Giveaways on LibraryThing. But, when reading these books, do be prepared to encounter a fair share of mistakes, including misspellings, lowercasing names, lack of punctuation, improper punctuation, and the useage of the wrong word (like "through" for "threw", as in "He through my books in the mud."). Looking past that, they usually are an *OK* story....nothing extra, but they do usually teach a lesson. ----------------------------------- Out of the 6 or 7 JK/SP books I read tonight, this is my absolute favorite. It might be the only one of their books that I ever give 5* to (regardless of the mistakes), because I really enjoyed the story. Henry the Hedgehog and Clive the Tabby Cat love to get together to pop balloons. They do this all the time, so they have now popped over 200. However, Pippi the Poodle--who seems like a real spoilsport, just because he is not in on the fun--gets annoyed, and wants to trick them, hoping they will stop popping balloons forever. So, he rigs up a patriot balloon filled with lots of tiny water balloons to splash them as they pop. This, however, does that hinder the duo's love of popping balloons. It only makes it where they no longer do it around Pippi.

I thought the illustrations in this cute book were delightful. The pairing of a cat and a hedgehog as friends is fun. The pair has found popping ballons to be entertaining, and more so near a dog who is not a fan of the POP noise. The opportunity arises for a harmless payback joke on the balloon popping pair. Pippi, the dog, wants to teach the poppers a lesson.

I won this book from Jupiter Kids/Speedy Publishing eBooks from the Member Giveaways on LibraryThing for free in exchange fro an honest review. It was cute, but don't expect much from the pictures, which is kind of a disappointment.
