Not only is this book great for the random tourist, but also for the local who thinks there is nothing to do in Albuquerque. There are some standard favorites that every Albuquerquean will recognize, but the book is full of surprises that will get even lifelong locals excited about exploring this great city. More than just a list of things to do, the book is full of tips and special bits of information that helps make each item exciting and new, even if you've done it a thousand times before. Having lived here my whole live, I was shocked to realize how few of these things I've actually done.
