It was such a huge book! I'm happy that I've finish it. It was good! I liked most of the styles, except A bug's life. A must for any Pixar fan!

This book is a whopping 800+ pages. I was not expecting it to be so hefty when I pulled it off the shelf, so I was pleasantly surprised. Every story, except A bugs life, was a redrawn comic version of the film. A Bugs Life looked like the cinestory comic version simply inserted among the other style. While I had no issue with the different aesthetics, the word bubbles were a little small in that one making it just a bit hard to read. Other than that I saw no issues with it. The art is pretty good, the colors are nicely done, the plots of each movie are a little condensed [that seems to be the case whenever they take a movie or a novel and turn it into a comic, like could you not give me a summary of the story in art form, I want the whole thing]. But I can understand why they're condensed, we're trying to fit 14 movies [and one expository piece for Wall-E] into one book, it's a lot, and even by summarizing the films we're still ending up with 800 pages. The sentences used for exposition and dialogue between characters are very simply written, so it's perfect for young readers to be able to relive their favorite movies by reading to themselves.

As with all movie-to-comic adaptations, each of the tales in this tome differs from its source material, but mostly by omission of smaller scenes, details, or lines of dialogue. Definitely captures the spirit of all the Pixar films represented.

A good collection of Disney stories, made into comic form. Unfortunately, many of the familiar touches in many of the stories are lost into the translations. While some are unavoidable, others deeply change the way the stories read. For example, the 'UP' story describes only briefly the meeting of Carl and Ellie. Overall, a very good and fun-to-read collection of stories.

This book is a great retelling of the Pixar animations. It even introduced things that I didn’t even know were in it!

I'd like to give this more stars, but the comics left out so much from the movies. While I can understand cutting some things, many of the changes felt cheap, and at times, the eliminations left plot holes. The artwork is beautiful and the stories fun, but too much of the magic is lost in this adaptation.
