I seriously loved reading the books in this series as I love Melanie Harlow’s work, if you have already read the books in this series then you’ll understand how amazing this series is. I was captivated from the start and honestly it’s well worth the read. Seriously though Lucas surprises me because in book one he was way against the idea of commitment but now in this book you see a whole new man, but with the same elements of the guy you saw in the first book. I honestly recommend you to give this a read, whilst it’s a steamy short, it’s well worth it if you want to read more of Mia and Lucas.

4.25 stars A bonus treat for those that love Mia and Lucas (like me!) along with bonus POVs of Lucas, Nick, and Charlie. Short but sweet but I do wish we've gotten more (or at least longer) POVs of the heroes (hence minus one star) since those have been sorely missed in this series. 4.25 stars A bonus treat for those that love Mia and Lucas (like me!) along with bonus POVs of Lucas, Nick, and Charlie. A nice little last look at a very good series. This was a very short collection of scenes from the Frenched series. You definitely need to read the other books to fully enjoy these scenes. There are a few key scenes from the books told from the guys POV. And a couple of chapters with Mia and Lucas after there wedding.

This little tidbit has a few opening chapters (or other scenes) from each of the three books from the males POV. And then we have the wedding night. I think this might have been the straw that broke the camels back for me. Not that I don't totally enjoy Melanie Harlow, but sometimes too much of a good thing just becomes too much and you no longer enjoy it. This is what happened for me. I was like YAY I love steamy romance, lets read ALL of it. And then I peaked. I was like YAY I love steamy romance, lets read ALL of it. And then I peaked. So now I am off to read some short stories by wonderful crazy YA lady authors, and then maybe finish a book series or two that I love that I kept promising myself I would finish but haven't yet because the end. It will be the end of a series I enjoyed, and then I am left with this deep pit of hollow because there are no more immanent possibilities for these characters. The roads have dwindled and the paths, they are chosen. But alas, I am a writer, and so if I must I imagine more happily ever after's for characters later. Maggie Steifvater says it the best, bring them to that place where anything is possible. But don't write down finitely what happens, just let them have the opportunities land at there feet. Bring them to an emotionally healthy place. Man, this should be a blog post, and not a book review, because it is more my feelings on books in general right now, then this book, but here you have it. So back to this story. Not bad, I'm just worn out by the series.

More Frenched!!! I’m a huge fan of all things Frenched, and was so excited when I saw this little bonus! It’s an extra that will appeal to fans of the series who, like me, are desperate for anything more from these fantastic, much-loved characters. It starts with a chapter each from the boys of the series: Lucas POV – the first time he and Mia met, followed by the first time he started to reveal his kinky side to her. Nick POV – the beginning of that oh-so-hot kitchen counter scene Charlie POV – the More Frenched!!! I’m a huge fan of all things Frenched, and was so excited when I saw this little bonus! From Mia’s POV, it’s post-wedding hotness as she and Lucas escape their wedding reception to find some not-so-quiet time together. “I take back every negative thing I ever said about getting married. Because this married life thing is fucking amazing.” Super hot, and beautifully romantic, it left me with a smile on my face and wanting to go back and reread their story all over again. This little collection is a definite must-read for fans of the series. 4 stars.

Melanie Harlow is one of my new favorite authors! This series, which began with Frenched, was amazing and exactly the kind of series I like to read. Each novel explores a different couple, the ladies being the connection from book to book. But while I loved every quirky thing these heroines did, it was the men that I really fell in love with! I loved Lucas, and then met Nick, and though I didn't think it was possible I loved him even more... But still not as much as I loved Charlie last. It was fun to visit Mia and Lucas in Frenched: The Wedding Night. I do recommend reading this after Forked, but skip the point-of-view chapters from the beginning as there is one from the third book (Floored). Once you finish reading Floored, I recommend coming back to this book and reading the point-of-view chapters or you could wait to read Frenched: The Wedding Night until you're done with Floored. Didn't love the format I got this because I wanted to read about Mia and Lucas's wedding and wedding night, but the book confused me. There were 4 short stories, guess you could say, first; recaps of scenes from other books in the series, but retold from the guys' viewpoint. Then there was the short story of the wedding night. The stories were good, but the formatting just made it seem like a big disjointed mess. Perfect Novella!! Oh the love of this novella! The POV that I love from each leading man in the Frenched series was so fun to look back to and reminisce. The wedding night bonus of Mia and Lucas was so great to read. You never know how much you miss characters in stories until you get these little pieces later on.

There were 4 scenes from the male POV before we get the Wedding Night story. Two from the first book from Lucas' POV. And one from Nick and Charlie's POV from the second and third books. These were just okay for me. I did really like The Wedding Night. Its been a while since I've read these books but I was able to get back into it.
