I think Terry did his homework and did a real good job writing this book. It was an easy read and I like the organization (chapters by issue), and then providing the history behind the various issues. I think this would be a must read for those supporting the current Obama Administration…you’ve provided the talking points and backup to his positions, but this is where we part company. I think this would be a must read for those supporting the current Obama Administration…you’ve provided the talking points and backup to his positions, but this is where we part company. As a non-Obama administration supporter, I wasn’t convinced to change my positions on the main issues….Global Warming, Health Care, Gun Control, Energy, and the many other issues that differ between the Obama and non-Obama supporters. I think most of the references or conclusions were based on “opinions” versus “facts”. I don’t believe doomsday will be here soon for the environment, but current activities to improve clean air should continue. Improving health care with changes and new enhancements should happen along with better gun control, and cleaner energy production. I think many steps have already been taken with these objectives in mind, but need to be accelerated. These are major issues, and I too would like to get agreements by all on final solutions….but I like a more “realistic moderate approach”……In short, these are big issues that will require patience, a lot more thought, long term direction and agreements, and a realistic implementation plan. My only negative regarding your book, was the bashing of previous administrations, which I would have left out….. That’s history, not needed, doesn’t help, and won’t change anything. Obama had almost eighth years to fix/change things, but his impact was also minimal.

Who Knew! Wow! Finally, someone wrote a book about the esoteric and virtually unchallenged broken system we call government. Before reading this excellent book, I must admit I was very naive. I never knew about the Pacs and Superpacs massive amount of capital distorting the political process, billions of dollars thrown around like arcade tokens. This book hits you right between the eyes with its directness and accuracy. Thank you for your honesty and research. I would recommend this book to frien Who Knew! Wow! I would recommend this book to friends, family, and anyone seeking truth and clarity about a dysfunctional and ambiguous machine called government. To The Sheeple: Do not read this book if you are not seeking unfiltered knowledge and the truth about American politics and copious amounts of wasted money.

After reading the reviews that you shared on your website, I really wish that I had the time to read the book since it seems that the reviewers who disagreed with you said that your facts were solid. Having read and reviewed a book earlier in my career in which the author misrepresented his biased and unsupported views as fact, I appreciate the opportunity to feature an author who did his homework. This book was well written and a very informative and interesting read. Although I did not agree with with all the authors' views and opinions, he did provide evidence to support them and provided much food for thought. He also injected some personal humor which lightened the reading of what I usually consider somewhat dry material. Overall, it was a good read. An easy introduction into the complex world of our socio-economic political reality. An entertaining yet sobering description of where we are and how we got here. Frank, to the point and well researched.
