Long Hard Road is a compilation of some of these accounts covering a wide range of topics on the preparation, training, and actions needed for NCOs to accomplish their missions.Part One is stories from Afghanistan, and Part Two is stories from Iraq. Part Two is divided into Fighting the Iraqi Army and Fighting the Insurgency. Each story has a brief introduction to provide a background and setting for the story.
