This book is actually about the Israeli strike on Iraq's Osirik Nuclear reactor in 1981. Training was top secret and there was a radio blackout during the strike. The Israeli's used bran-new F-16's purchased from the U.S.A. piloted by their top-guns. Whenever I hear about a possible Israeli strike against Iran, I think of this book. A nuclear weapon in the hands of a psychopath like Saddam Hussein would have been a disaster so Israel was fully justified in eliminating the threat. Dan Mckinnon outlines the faultless operation undertaken by the Israeli Air Force.

Great read of what really happened, scary to think they were so close and were stopped at the last hour, should be a required reading for any history buff. Dan
