Not the kind of book that really needs to be reviewed for others, but largely so that I can remember to check it out again. I really enjoyed reading through this recipes and marking ones that I should try. I even found some that were very similar to natural cleaning options that I'd used when the kids were quite young. I need to incorporate some of these again, so I really enjoyed these simple and easy cleaning options.

There's a few good recipes in here - but you don't need a separate recipe for every little thing - also there were some duplicates throughout. Also, I'm uncomfortable with her safety here. Recommending a "standard" dilution of 25% is insane. Many essential oils have a max safety at 20% dilution - most should be used no higher than 5% acutely, and 2% routinely. Recommending clove with this high of dilution for a BABY's mouth?!?! That is a hot oil, and not even recommended for babies AT ALL by eve There's a few good recipes in here - but you don't need a separate recipe for every little thing - also there were some duplicates throughout. 200+ uses and they ain't a kiddin' I think that 50 multi-purpose recipes would be better than having to make a special recipe for every purpose under the sun, BUT having said that this book is really great because it mostly utilizes oils that you probably have if you dabble in essential oils. I really hate reading a nice recipe that calls for 3 drops of oil that will probably cost me $20 to buy. I get that sometimes that is necessary, but I appreciate being able to be versatile with what I alread 200+ uses and they ain't a kiddin' I think that 50 multi-purpose recipes would be better than having to make a special recipe for every purpose under the sun, BUT having said that this book is really great because it mostly utilizes oils that you probably have if you dabble in essential oils. I liked the simplicity of this book (easy to find/use ingredients and easy to follow/use recipes) and it is a pretty book with a nice format. I'm always glad to learn new ways to use my essential oils and this will help me with that!

Must read for DIYers. Have tweaked some old recipes with new ideas based on her recipes. Will have to purchase this one for home library. Great reference book.

When I bought my first oil, I was in the cloth-diapering, no-shampoo, take my own bags to the store stage of life. I didn’t own a single oil that I had bought for therapeutic purposes, just cleaners and bug spray and deodorizers. It was only a few years later that I started thinking about other uses. This book suits early me perfectly, and since I’m trying to get back into a reduced-chemical lifestyle, it suits me again. It’s easier than Pinterest and the blends utilize common oils so I’m buying When I bought my first oil, I was in the cloth-diapering, no-shampoo, take my own bags to the store stage of life. this book is fabulous and the way it is broken down makes it super easy the read. I will have to hold onto this one for a while before I return it to the library

Lots of good recipes for cleaners. Not a lot of information about the cleansing / purifying properties of the oils. Copying some recipes for later use.
