I have always been fans of trivia no matter the category although sports I tend to veer away from as much. But with one that uses cats in the title it definitely does catch the eye a lot better than some of the other titles that I have seen. The book was a great collection of trivia and one that was wonderfully organized. As such the majority of trivia was categorized with similar other types such as medicine, food, etc. The last category that combined animals ad objects seemed a bit lazy to me I have always been fans of trivia no matter the category although sports I tend to veer away from as much. The book was a great collection of trivia and one that was wonderfully organized. As such the majority of trivia was categorized with similar other types such as medicine, food, etc. The last category that combined animals ad objects seemed a bit lazy to me though. The other thing that bothered me is that the author chose to compile an interesting list of factlets. Instead of confirming that all of them were fact he threw them all together. As such some of the facts are a little fishy or unproven. All in all it is a quick one and a good start. Redundant as many fact books are this one tests the reader at the end of each chapter with a few multiple answer questions taken from the chapter so it can be used for a good trivia game if you get some friends together.

This book has many newer facts but still has other facts that are recycled and others that are common knowledge.

You don't read this book as you mainly look at the pictures. Nevertheless it is a rather entertaining trivia book. It covers many different topics complete with a quiz after each chapter. I enjoyed reading the trivia in "Cats Are Capable of Mind Control: etc." However, I was disappointed that it was not more about cats. Trivia is fun, but I really expected this book to have funny stuff about cats.
