I remember being quite excited when I read this, years ago. It revealed many interesting facts about many British TV shows I had discovered -- a gift box of photos and information for a hungry student, interested in the legacy of one of PBS's greatest contributions to North America. It's not the most detailed or critical analysis, but it was the right book at the right time. A celebration without too much sycophantic cheerleading. Synopses and some behind-the-scenes stories of some of MT's most popular programs. I'd love an update, and even more stories about more programs! I liked that the profiles of some of the MT regulars (actors) really focused on their work on different MT shows, rather than their whole careers (which I imagine are covered elsewhere).
