This review is from: Written In The Stars: (Scifi BBW BWWM Romance) (Dazon Agenda Book 1) Right from the first sentence, I knew that I was going to love this Sci-Fi adventure. The story is complete in this book, although I sure hope that all the groundwork laid out by Juno Wells and Aurelia Skye will not end with this one book. Jada discovered about 8 years ago that she has a very rare genetic disease, Kaiser's Syndrome. The disease causes progressive neurological and muscle atrophy. She's been wheel chair bound for years. She makes an effort to get out to the store, the doctors, and even meet for lunch with a few others who also have Kaiser's Syndrome. Before she discovered her disease and failing body, she was very active. Now, she has reinvented herself to the best of her limited abilities. She learned a whole lot about computers, both from the user's perspective and some of the internals. She started a forum for others who also have Kaiser's Syndrome. She has about 85 people who post to the Blog. Recently, several members stopped writing. When she tried other means of contacting them, she came up with a mystery. She reported to the police, but he detective she spoke with was less than helpful, to but it gently. So, she became her own sleuth. The more she dug the more mysterious the disappearances became. Why would anyone want slowly dying women with a fatal genetic flaw, a bit of extra DNA on the ninth chromosome. She hacked her way into some secure sites and found that nearly 400 women had disappeared! They all appear to have an extremely rare blood type:AO negative! A week later the doorbell rang. She was most reluctant to answer it. She looked out the lowered peephole to see an unknown non-descript man standing there. He asked if she was Jada Washington. He said his name was Ryland Breese, and that he was a type of detective known as an inquisitor. She told him to go away. She thought he had when the door began to glow and the bolts and locks, one by one unlocked, even the chain came out of it slot and fell to the side. The door opened and the man stepped inside. The air around him blurred and he suddenly was almost 7 feet tall and big all over, and gorgeous (naturally - it's a romance after all). Ryland Breese said he was from the Dazon Empire and that he was hunting a scientist and some of his staff who he thinks are probably on Earth. He'd come to help find her missing friends and the others who disappeared. He knew why the scientist had taken them. They were compatible with Dazon. He told her his people were rapidly dying out as there were precious few females capable of producing babies, and that 80% of those that made it were male! The women on Earth with Kaiser's Syndrome appeared to be uniquely compatible. He fears that this scientist will not as, but take what he wants with no regard for the women. He would for their eggs to mature, harvest them and then fertilize them with Dazon sperm and place them in external wombs. Now that the ground for the new series was laid out, the pace of the story picked up rapidly. He was able to inject nanobots into her system and within a very short time, Jada was able to stand and walk for the first time in eight years! At this point they discover that they have more in common than the need to find and save the stolen women and a lengthy and delightful sex scene ensues. They more than like each other. Her sleuthing has discovered a building perfect for housing the women. Ryland absolutely forbids her to check out the building. He will go and report back to her. While he is gone, she is abducted. Now, I hope that I have whetted your appetite for this delightful Sci-Fi romantic mystery. It does have a Happily Ever After and I hope there will soon be more episodes in the series! Thank you Juno and Aurelia!

"Written in the Stars" was an excellent sci-fi read! I loved the the author gave a rather descriptive origin of Jada Washington's condition (Kaiser's Syndrome) and how "the glow," Ryland Breese was able to connect with her character even in a wheelchair claiming that he was her mate; now that's true unconditional love and with an alien inquisitor no doubt! Juno Wells has a way with words and I look forward in reading the rest of the books in this series. 5 glowing alien stars with a strong HEA! "Written in the Stars" was an excellent sci-fi read! I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. This is book 1 in the Dazon Agenda series and is a stand alone story with a HEA. I enjoyed this book. Jada has a rare condition that has put her in a wheelchair. So far there is no hope for a cure but she does not let that stop her from reaching out to others with her condition. Her blog has become a support group for other ladies just like her. Ryland is a detective for his planet and is looking for a missing scientist. Interesting concept This book is the first in the series. It's about a woman who has a debilitating disease that has left her wheelchair bound. She runs an online forum for women affected by the disease. She realizes that some women from the forum have gone missing. This begins the race to find them and save them. I have loved reading books by Juno Wells; however, this one started out a little slow. I did get into it by the end, but I had to push myself to go through the first few chapters. Science fantasy and romance rolled into one. Definitely need to read the series in order. I read ahead before this one. Some confusion with keeping the storyline of characters straight. Aliens with fertility problems and humans with genetic disease meet by way of abduction on earth and love occurring for the investigating alien and the blogging human. Will the aliens try to ask instead of kidnapping women and their eggs?

Short and interesting read! This is the 2nd book I've read by Juno Wells and I really liked it! Very well written and informative. In this book we have an alien race that is dying out and find that on Earth, women with Kaiser's syndrome would be compatible. Ryland comes to earth to protect and warn his mate Jada, of a plot by his half brother to kidnap and inseminate these women without their knowledge. Ryland and Jada thwart his plans and they get their HEA! 4 stars!!! Short and interesting read! This is the 2nd book I've read by Juno Wells and I really liked it! Very well written and informative. Very short story I was disappointed with the brevity of this story. I prefer books that are at least 300-400 pages and provide a more in-depth story.
