Each page has a tip or inspirational message to help encourage the reader to take on healthier good habits. Some of the tips were vague and couldn't be applied in their brief snippet of a summary.     Received from my bestie as a Christmas gift. haven’t finished the book but seeing that it’s a year long devotional I marked as read. I am really enjoying reading a page a day and learning something new each day. It’s a beautiful book, inside and out. I definitely recommend it!

    There's so many wonderful ideas in this book! Little things you can do here and there to try to incorporate some good-for-you things into your day-to-day. When I was reading the intro to this book I was unsure it would be for me. She started out by listing the "Top Beauty Betrayers" as 1. Alcohol 2. Caffeine 4. Dairy 7. Grilled Foods 11. Soda (That's out of 12 things). I love those things. I mean...I truly LOVE Caffeine, Alcohol, and Dairy. I gots ta have my cheese man! I was thinking "Hmm big t There's so many wonderful ideas in this book! Little things you can do here and there to try to incorporate some good-for-you things into your day-to-day. When I was reading the intro to this book I was unsure it would be for me. She started out by listing the "Top Beauty Betrayers" as 1. Alcohol 2. Caffeine 4. Dairy 7. Grilled Foods 11. This is a great book for people who want to learn more about the individual benefits from specific food for you body and skin, that is mainly what i was looking for when i found this book. But you also gain a lot of knowledge on the way you eat your food, more specifically this book will tell you specific foods to pair together for maximum retention of vitamins and nutrients. For example, Pistachios and Figs make a great pairing because the Vitamin B6 This book was so cute yet very informative. This is a great book for people who want to learn more about the individual benefits from specific food for you body and skin, that is mainly what i was looking for when i found this book. But you also gain a lot of knowledge on the way you eat your food, more specifically this book will tell you specific foods to pair together for maximum retention of vitamins and nutrients. For example, Pistachios and Figs make a great pairing because the Vitamin B6 in the pistachios and the magnesium in the figs together support healthy sleep, stress reduction, and a healthy nervous system. This book contains too much other things to summarize in this review, like recipes and happy-living tips, but i believe that this book is benefitial to anyone who is interested in healthy living. I would say that this book is mainly plant-based, although she does mention eggs and certain fish from time to time, but not enough to turn anyone who is plant-based away from it. I am vegan myself and did not find this distracting. Also, did i mention how freaking cute this book is!

I’m not the kind of person who likes to stress about what I’m eating, so I liked that her approach was about adding healthy habits rather than a strict diet. Also, the fact that this book is about building inner beauty - not just good looks - was heartwarming!

    I love this little book! It took me a long time to get through it as it isn't a book you sit down and read as you would a novel. My first pass was from start to finish, my next and continued passes (as I plan to continue to use it as I do my daily meditation sessions) will be aligned with the seasons and calendar. Very useful, inspirational information in an attractive, easy to use format!
