“Shirley Homes and the Lithuanian Case” is a detective story written by Jennifer Bassett. In this story, Carrie Williams is 15 years old. She has a boyfriend. but they are citizens of different countries. So her father was angry. Carrie and her father had a quarrel Carrie ran away from home. Her mother hired a detective to search for the missing Carrie. This book’s good point is characters are charming. Because this is a story that sought to have realistic feelings. Especially the Williams family. “Shirley Homes and the Lithuanian Case” is a detective story written by Jennifer Bassett. In this story, Carrie Williams is 15 years old. Her mother hired a detective to search for the missing Carrie. This book’s good point is characters are charming. Because this is a story that sought to have realistic feelings. Especially the Williams family. There are four people in Williams family. Mother and father and daughter and son. I think Carrie is resembling her father. They have quick tempers. However, Carrie’s mother has a mild personality. Her son also has a mild personality. Carrie’s boyfriend is a forgiving man. I think he is a nice man. Next good point is illustrations are easy to understand. Characters’ expressions are easy to understand the feelings. I’m poor at only letter English books. So I was very help by illustrations. Bad point is getting the punch line of story beforehand. I made an accurate prediction. Carrie came back to Williams home. However, I am satisfied with this story because it has a happy end. Next bad point is this story is more of family trouble story than a detective story. Title is “Shirley Homes”. so I mistook a difficult mystery story. But I can read casually because it is an easy story. People who like detective stories will like this book. This novel has become a series. You will want to read the continuation of the story.
