When do you draw the line in the sand on friendships? When you are happy for someone’s fruitful future or when they think you killed their business partner? Read this book to see the outcome! Good, quick read!!!

Beer or maybe even straight vodka shots definitely but not TEA. - [ ] Must admit I really like that Tonya was the victim; I truly despised that character since the last book. She’s not even real & I hated her to the core of me. She may not be real but we all know someone just like her ass. - [ ] First 10 chapters her typos and grammatical errors had bettered at least for this book; however started falling back into the grammar issues after that. Found quite a few problems. - [ ] They have a very special place for people like Alison Breckmyer. That woman SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE KILLER! & I’m extremely annoyed that she wasn’t. - [ ] Her way of saying “surprisingly loose” about Missy’s clothes after a workout at WiredFit! Bates how surprised is she if that is what usually happens when someone works out regularly & she has only missed a few days of her routine! You’re impossible!! I think if it were really up to you, Missy would stay “BIG” & have body shaming issues until she’s dead herself! It’s ridiculous. - [ ] Noreen’s character has to be the most selfish in his book series! It’s all about Noreen & I honestly can’t stand her. She gets the WORST BESTFRIEND AWARD 🏆 what kind of friend actually tells the cops (that already had Missy pegged as a suspect) about their latest blowout and makes Missy look more guilty. Especially after Missy was the only person that had Noreen’s back when Noreen was arrested on murder! This friendship is WACKED! 🤪☠️ - [ ] Every fiber of my being wanted to scream when I read chapter 19 to 20!! Why? Why Bates why!!? Why jump from her in jail to her being at Do Re Tea! NO TRANSITIONS! Honestly these ending are horrendous! Always rushed! - [ ] Honestly reaching the end I needed a better explanation about the pin. The sorority pin didn’t have a real reasoning! What was the point. It would have been more logical and a better ending if it was Alison (giving reason and propose to her visit. And the use of the bathroom) to make her the killer. & just give some crazy backstory that intertwined the women that gave her motive. May have been predictable that she was the killer but you could have given a backstory that could still shock the reader. CREATIVITY PEOPLE SHEESH!That ending was rushed; YET AGAIN & lazy to say the least. The pin besides giving the cops a reason to arrest Missy was not explained correctly & POINTLESS! Overall rating: 2 ⭐️& I’m being generous! Her writing has its good moments; however those moments are limited. Bates is predictable in her writing and word choices. Her lack thereof to be able to wrap up an ending correctly is underwhelming. Her choice in making Missy weak yet have these small parts of a strong woman; is sad it should be the other way around. It’s disrespectful in my opinion how much she body shames Missy for not being a size 0! It’s noticeable how much this author focuses on that. Which as a reader makes me wonder if Bates is a “BIG” woman herself. Also this book nearly had me pulling my own hair out due to the horrible friends & neighbors she deal with in her town daily; it is frustrating. Also where was the explanation of Books & Crannies!!? What happened there?? What happened with Brett?! She didn’t explain how finally Books & Crannies was taken over and she started skiing Noreen... Nothing! You see Bates you leave readers with questions! That’s never good. The author lacks execution & a solid, well thought out game plan of how to unveil the killer & end her books. The only thing I liked about this book was Tyler. He was supportive and loving. It seems the average stars for her series are 2 ⭐️!! I’m a tough critic when it comes to what I read I expect the best and I have a huge checklist. Let’s just say I’m not impressed with this book/series; it bored me. (Just one persons opinion) On to the last book! THANK GOD I CAN FINISH THIS AND BE DONE! Bates I’m sorry but if you write anything else I don’t think I’ll be picking it up! If I ever do I hope you have improved!

Small town life is going great until a series of murders brings out the detective in Missy. She can't help but get involved as a friend, and in this case she herself, is the prime suspect. There has to be a way to talk the real murderer into confessing before she is wrongfully arrested. If only things were as easy as it looks on tv. Missy is booked and sitting in an interrogation room before she figures out who the killer is. Read this book for a great novel of rollercoaster twists and turns. Excellent writing and good, clean murder.

Best so far! I received this book free from one of the book sites. I do not remember which one! This is my honest review. Poor Missy Demeanor, her best friend just went into business with another friend, one Missy doesn't like. Then again, Tonya didn't like Missy either. At the grand opening, Tonya is poisoned & the prime suspect is Missy! Follow her as she tries to figure out who the killer really is! The police are stuck on Missy doing the deed & don't look at anyone else! What will Missy do? Best so far! I received this book free from one of the book sites. I do not remember which one! How can there be 2 best friends+ Once again, the characters and the plot line were great. I always feel like Missy is someone that I know personally. Her sleuthing is legendary, at least according to the police officer who wants to arrest her. This time she has to solve a murder or face being arrested herself. The only issue that I had with the book was the editing, or rather the lack of editing. It is one of my pet peeves. Editing before publishing seems the obvious process, but it just does not How can there be 2 best friends+ Once again, the characters and the plot line were great. It's all in the wording This story took a lot of twists that led nowhere, at first. But this is how Brianna Bates writes and it keeps me reading all night. I can never figure out who's guilty, there's too much going on. As long as Missy and Noreen are still BFF and the romance stays on track, I'll stay tuned for the next murder.

A must read!!!!! When I started reading the first book in this series I was intrigued....so even before I finished it...I bought all the other books ....Missy DeMeanor is witty, charming, and has an appealing humor....I think that in some ways all women can identify with her...way to go Brianna Bates!!!! I can't wait to hear more from you.

A quick read that is mildly entertaining. Missy is still likeable but the plot seems a bit thinner this time and the ending once again seemed rushed. The grammatical errors are becoming more noticeable and makes me wonder if this series was self-published or if publishers truly do not care about the quality of the works as they're being pushed out the door. A shame really.

Last book I really hope this was the last book. I'm tired of Missy DeMeanor. Missy gets to into peoples faces, accusing them, without really thinking things. If I start a series, I finish it, even if I don't like the stories.

A big celebration for Noreen, opening the tea room, Missy best friend. Now marred with the murder of her partner, and it was Missy who gave her the deadly tea. Funny, with twists, to getting it solved.

A decent cozy mystery, although the climax and denouement of arresting the killer were all done off-screen. We see the next morning, "I'm so glad the caught him", but not the actual catching.

Trouble with tea! I got this book on Amazon for free and wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was well written and interesting. The characters were great! From Missy and Tyler and Noreen to Paul I.S. Gold. They were well developed, had lots of personality, and their dialigs were extremely well done. I also liked how expressive they were and how well the author was able to portray their feelings to the reader. Now I am going to go and read some of the other books while I wait Trouble with tea!
