This story... Has Simon investigating the Lizzie Borden murders. So far, it is the short story in this set that I have enjoyed the most. It takes place when Simon is about 12 years old.

A good read. I enjoyed the short story. Being from MA I got quite the chuckle from her description of Simon “wearing a Yankees hat backwards” 😂😂😂

Excellent Sidebar Excellent read showing one of Simons quests outside of the Chronos series. A must read for CHRONOS fans. Typical Simon antics.

Another amusing CHRONOS story I have enjoyed this series and the short stories quite a bit. It's always interesting to think about how time travel might work and how it might change things. I was a little bothered at the beginning though, because Simon makes mention of Hamilton no longer being on the twenty, and that's inaccurate because he's on the ten. Jackson is on the twenty. I don't know if it was ever different and that's what she's referring to, but I found it odd; mostly because she's so Another amusing CHRONOS story I have enjoyed this series and the short stories quite a bit. My apologies if he was ever on the twenty and she made reference to a little known change that actually occurred in real life at some point. I've just always known Hamilton to be on the ten. It probably bothered me more than it should have because the rest of the story was great as usual.

I really enjoy these short stories that provide additional information about Saul and Simon. Simon becomes intrigued with the Lizzie Borden murder and finding out who actually killed her parents after Saul mentions having traveled there. When Simon's curiosity gets the better of him, he uses a CHRONOS key to observe who committed the murders.

Great short story!!! Another view into the Saul/Simon relationship that keeps you questioning yourself if Simon really is a "rat bastard". I really wonder where Rysa gets her ideas of what parts of history to write into these stories and how just a tiny little hiccup could totally change the whole event and aftermath. I love the ideas she comes up with.

Quick and good read! Again this author has written a thoughtful novella that helps fill in the blanks and shared more about Simon. Enjoyable and true to her style.
