I received this book through Goodreads giveaway. Not a book I would usually read- some parts interesting in a fantastical way, but overall it fell a little flat to me by the end. I always wondered what the hippie life meant, and we're this a somewhat accurate portrayal, I'm glad I missed it. I received this book through Goodreads giveaway. Well-told story of one person's life lived for inner peace, meaning, and music as well as an insight into the hippie life lived from the early sixties up to today. It didn't end with Altamont! An eye opening experience about the hippie era. Lots of information I forgot about growing up in the 60s and 70s. A little slow but very informative. I enjoyed it.
