Handsome attorney Casey Sullivan is a catch, and everyone seems to know it except his beautiful, but slightly deranged girlfriend, deejay Sidra Barton! Just the slightest mention of 'happily ever after' has her ready to run out the door. Not that she'll get far because Casey Sullivan always gets what he wants, and he wants Sidra Barton. It took me forever to finally sit down and write this review. I guess I didn’t want the book to end and needed a moment to process all that black girl magic D.A. Young was serving up. I guess I didn’t want the book to end and needed a moment to process all that black girl magic D.A. Young was serving up. Ladies this book was everything! The author addressed so many political and social issues that are important today and not only that offers ways we can help in our own community. Sometimes authors can sound overly “preachy” in books but this book it was like she was speaking life. I loved all the pop culture references and the way the author addressed racism and sexism. (Ok on to this review) We are back on the row with Casey & Sid. If you are like me you have been waiting impatiently for this story. Sid although her mouth is straight fire is very complicated she has demons from her past that she battles with daily. The problem with demons is that if you don’t confront them they will eat you alive. No one can ever accuse Sid of being a coward but she was hurt very deeply as a child and that has shaped the woman she is today. Now I know her nick name is Sid-vicious but she cares deeply and the only man who can deal with her antics is Casey. This book made me see Casey in a different light. When this man loves he loves hard but his insecurities of losing Sid can often get the best of him. I loved how the author dug a little deep into both characters past. We got to see a young Sidra & Casey as kids fighting for love and the factors that both shaped them into who they are today. I do wish with Casey’s violent tendencies in this book we would have got to see him grovel a little bit more or take corrective action ( I never did see him atone for his behavior). For me the story was kind of overshadowed by the “secret” Sidra carried (and all the players) e.g. her mom/dad but the issue with Dom and Casey when did they get cool and how did it come about? I would have loved to see how that wrapped up and more on the wedding. Like all the authors stories we get to catch up with our favorite characters and let me tell you Lex & Viv were the break out stars in this book for me. I cannot wait to hear more about this imposing threat and how these two even came about. Ella is another play that slowly came to the forefront of this book. I believe she has more of a story to tell and her past won’t be so pretty as well. I think this book was a little more action packed than the last with Sidra’s past and the characters who make a play to destroy her happiness. This story had a few twists and turns that I did not see coming. One thing I give the author kudos for is the family tree in the beginning of the book. Because this story dealt with some heavy issues Sidra’s mother was a great comic relief. D.A. Young has done it again by serving all this realness in her latest instalment. I previously mentioned that this book was a little different than the others and I loved that the author dug deeper and produced something that was touching and eye opening. You have a fan in me D.A. Young I cannot wait for the next book. I highly recommend this series. Please judge this book for yourselves and not based on this one review.

Too much, a bit all over the place Not my favorite of the series - it was scattered, there were too many characters, too many plot lines and I did not like the shoving in of Black Lives Matter into a fluffy read. It seemed forced and inappropriate. That's just my opinion- read and make up your own. Another great instalment in this series. This is Casey and Sidra's story. I love this couple and the sass in their relationship. Casey shows us his bad ass side which I loved and Sidra's family history is extremely messed up. We caught up with all the other couples too. Great series. I would encourage everyone to read this series. I love it. Another great instalment in this series. This is Casey and Sidra's story. I love this couple and the sass in their relationship. Amazing The men of whiskey row series has me truly invested in its characters! I read all 4 books within 3 days. I just couldn't stop reading! I have never cried, laughed, been so angry and appalled yet so happy when things fell into place. This has been one hell of an emotional ride that i hope doesn't end. It seems every character has a story and i can't wait to see what happens next. I am now a huge fan of D.A. Young. I will read anything and everything by this author! Not as good as the others in the series I think this book was just OK it seemed like the author was trying to get every politically correct inclusion and diversity topic into the storyline which kind of threw the book off for me. I mean really how many times do you run into people from at least 10 different countries all different colors and shades and completely into one another in one single “family” unit/community. The homosexuality thing to me is WAAAY over done, to the point where it’s just overplayed and unnaturally shoved down the readers throats. Not sure if I’ll read the next series the books are supposed to be about a specific couple but there’s so many plots and sub-plot that it’s kind of losing me.

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. What can I say, another awesome book! Didn't know Casey was still fighting so many demons. Thank you for giving us the backstory on Sidra. It explained a lot about why she's the way she is. The title says it all; Casey and Sidra are 'perfectly imperfect' but most definitely perfect for each other! What can I say, another awesome book! Didn't know Casey was still fighting so many demons. Great Read I enjoyed Casey and Sidra's story. I love the kids. That DJ is something else, he is a hoot. I got a good laugh off of baby Jack wrestling a drumstick from Ruby. This was a great story that held my interest from beginning to end. I didn't have to skip any sections. Looking forward to more of the sexy Men of Whiskey Row. What A Ride! Could it get any better. This book had a bit of everything: romance, suspense , comedy, crazy and a whole lot of drama. A must read. Looking forward to the next installment.

Whew...break time.. Okay..I'm going to take a little break from this series. I basically read Books 2, 3 & 4 over the course of a day and a half in-between chores, running errands and a sleepless night as I have Insomnia. Still amazed how well fact & fiction are weaved so well together. And the socio-economic political issues are so relatable and I love how Young just goes there!👍 So yes..I am officially truly in love with that Sullivan clan just like I am with those Blakemores & Trodats. My family & friends are a diverse group just like the folks in Whiskey Row. I'm dang proud too and couldn't care less who doesn't like it!I For some reason emotionally book four hit me harder I guess since so much of the emotional baggage was dealt with more in this book than the previous 3. I, my Mom & all my siblings carry that pain. We never got over it..( I mean like really..get over to what - right?😒) We learned how to live with it. As usual I was riveted...I cried at points & choked on laughter at others. I swear the sex scenes made me blush so I had to skip them but the drama and sappy romantic parts like Casey's proposal were more than enough for me. And speaking of Casey...uhhh..he, his brothers, Holt, Alexie..I mean like..they are a lil Cray-cray..huh?! I think there should be a small crossover set with them, the Blakemores and the Trodats.😁😆😄 Oh..throw in Man & Gabriel (Blind Date & A Rainy Night in Georgia) too along with their posse..hahaahaaa. Please read this series... I bought them, for me they are keepers! Bravo D. A. Young!👏

Yes and No This is the story of Sid and Casey, to say this is an angry story is an understatement. Both characters are angry and even though Casey is in counseling he has a hard time keeping control. Sid is angry because of her father treatment of her mom, she is angry at her mom for subjecting and demeaning herself for a man. Then we meet her mom now who has made her fortune now by being an angry woman and attacking men. If you are looking for a busy story of survival this may be it. Also note there are so many stories going on this book it can be a bit off putting. To the author nice writing but it might have been nicer to focus on a coup!e of storylines not six or more.

MS. Young you brought this baby straight home👏👏🙌🙌🙌!!! Well what can one expect from this author except the absolute best, the over 💯 percent of pure perfection. I took a while to grab this book, because I believe that Sidra is by far my best female heroine of this series behind Vivianne and I wanted to savor it when I started to read this story. It was also super nice to have all of the other favorite character showing up and added a little cameo for each of them, where us the reader went back into reminiscent about each of their stories. MS. Young this series was the bomb and I can't wait for the "ties that bind series" as I know it will be great for how long we have been awaiting impatiently for on the finale!

Things are a bit busy in three cities I was put off by the forceful reconciliation in the first book. Spousal rape is ugly and having witnessed his mother's abuse I was surprised It was part of Jack & Noelle story. Bodice ripping is not sexy. Now this bunch of crazies had the more tame storyline. I have downloaded Alexei & Vivianne story and hope it concludes the family's history of bad decision. I know the author will not be writing Dom a story. Wow! I enjoyed reading Sidra and Casey's story. There was a lot going on in this story. Sidra had a rough, crazy childhood. Her father Nero really didn't care about anyone other than himself. I was confused about some parts of this story but I won't spoil it by discussing it for the ones who haven't read this book yet. But I am glad Sidra and Casey finally have their happy ending! Wow! Mind blowing I came across this series by chance and almost passed it by but decided to give it a chance. I am SO glad I did. Out of the previous books I have to say this one tugged at my heart he most. The raw passion and love Sid and Casey had was phenomenal. They were both hot heads with issues but with the support of those around them and each other they prevailed. The banter between the characters is hilarious and the drama is plenty.

A heart felt ramance I love D, a, young novels of the men of Whiskey Row. I read book 1 ,2,3,4, I just love Casey and sides a little more than the others characters because their been through so much more in their life the others. They were hurting and they found each other. They are funny together. They were made for each other. Their sex in the bedroom was hot and exciting and do not let me forget so dirty and I love it .

This series is seriously delicious. I mean, it's just getting more juicy as we go on. This book primarily focuses on Sidra and Casey's relationship and we get so much detail on their lives and why they are the way they are. There's a lot of bombs dropped in this book. More so than the previous novels and we get more action and adventure in this one as well. Also, cherry on top is that Sidra and Casey have the hottest love scenes ever. By far my favorite! Love the Row! Thanks to the author for penning a totally awesome series. The story was well written and left me wanting more. I look forward to reading the last book available and to future volumes. I was honestly skeptical about how the story would be for Casey and Sidra but was excited throughout the read. The side stories were perfect as the stories are about family! Thank you!

So far, I think this chapter in the series is my favorite!!! There were so many funny parts and interesting points, that I had to highlight them!! I once thought that Jack was my favorite brother, but I think that Casey took his place!!! Loving the way he has the right amount of being in control and out of control!! You have to read it for yourself to see where I'm coming from. So far, I think this chapter in the series is my favorite!!! Perfectly Imperfect I enjoyed the story of Sidera and Casey. It took Casey a while to wear Sidera down but he did it. Then there was the black mail of Mrs Romonock then the wolf had to get involved. Holt took Vivienne out to a beautiful picnic. Great read!!
