I need some new things to cook for my family and am on a low carb diet from my doctor, so Paleo is one of the diets that usually has some great ideas for meals. There were some great recipes to try but I'm not sure about the Paleo designation in the title. I found a few recipes that had regular rice listed in the ingredients and that's not allowed on a Paleo diet. However, I do know a few work arounds for that so it's not a big deal. If someone's new to Paleo, it could seriously confuse them. Recipes seem bland and overly reliant on lime. Some of the ingredients seemed iffy for Paleo. Also, the print is tiny. Even with brand new glasses I had to squint. Why do recipe books consistently make this mistake? I don't want to have to work to follow a recipe, I just want to cook it and that includes being able to read it easily. GREAT book for making Latin American dishes healthier. I don't follow a Paleo diet but I like to use their cookbooks because they give good healthy recipes to make foods from scratch. Sometimes people forget about ethnic style foods when making healthier recipes. Lots of great ideas to get me started and then I can build on them myself!
