I really enjoyed this book and think it is a great book for mamas to be who are looking to live a healthier and less chemical free life. The book covers a variety of topics including greening your diet, the growing fetus, your home and your beauty care. It also covers birth, breastfeeding and the postpartum time period. This book is of course centered around a more organic and natural lifestyle and is filled with a variety of great information. I have read a lot in this genre and I still learned I really enjoyed this book and think it is a great book for mamas to be who are looking to live a healthier and less chemical free life. This book is of course centered around a more organic and natural lifestyle and is filled with a variety of great information. I have read a lot in this genre and I still learned some things in regards to chemicals to avoid in baby products. The book includes recipes for beauty care products and has an index in the back filled with the different chemicals and terms that are used. Another thing I found useful is in each chapter there is a section called "When Money Matters More". This section will talk about what are the most important things to purchase in an organic or natural form and other options when you don't have the financial resources. Overall. this is a great book regarding natural and organic pregnancy, with information about birth and breastfeeding. Thank you to the publisher, Dundurn Press, for sending me a review copy of this book.
