I liked this book/magazine. It has information about most colleges and also about admissions. I liked the stories about real students which sounded upbeat and optimistic. Advice given in this book seems appropriate and helpful. I will buy or recommend this one for purchase to my college bound student.

I won this in a goodreads giveaway. Lots of college information here, ranked and organized. Methodology is included. There is also advice and timelines for the application process. Colleges are ranked nationally and regionally. There are some rankings by major (not every major known to man, but business and engineering are included). Liberal arts colleges and a ranking of colleges that you are likely to be accepted to if you are a B average student. Liberal arts colleges and a ranking of colleges that you are likely to be accepted to if you are a B average student. Detailed information for each school is located in the back section. Cost of tuition, average size of financial aid package, Greek life, demographics, and a breakdown of the most popular majors at that school. Religious affiliation too. Great for parents of high school students and middle school students. There was stuff in here I hadn't considered. Things have changed a lot in the competitiveness of college selection and enrollment. I deducted one star because my child is interested in education, which is one of the most popular majors, but there was not breakdown of colleges for that major. The space was obviously used for engineering and information how job out looks for these areas. Highly recommended over all. Happy Reading :)
