Great story! I've not read this author and don't normally read this genre, but I'm so glad I did! I gave 4 stars because there were several times I was confused, but still the story was awesome! I enjoyed the characters and had a hard time putting this book down! Will definitely look into other books by this author! Great story! This book was so enjoyable. I couldn't put it down. Beautiful story about faith, steadfastness, and trusting in God. Makes you give glory to the "Author" (as mentioned in the book), Jesus Christ. I love it. It's interesting how the author describes devi's hatred for humanity. Also agree how the enemy, the darkness or the devil has the power over those humans who are evil incline, weak of spirit and have the lack of a relationship with God. It also made me wonder how many of all those evangelist in the religious networks or radio are the real deal or false teachers. Anyway this book is just as good and not as scary as Frank Peretti's The Visitation and This Present Darkness and its sequel I love it. Great first novel Love this type of book. Supernatural, but based on the real battle happening every day. Would have liked to get to know Daniel a bit more! Will definitely read further books by Jason Parrish.

Darkness Watches Awesome read, gave you good insight into evil and what it tries to do to stop what the Lord means for good.
Christine Parson –

Gwendolyn Byers –
Good Christian supernatural thriller.
Oh So Cool Lisa –
Worth reading It was good, but not great. Imagine complex or mysterious words in simple sentences. A bit choppy in places. I preferred Peretti books.
Karen Brumfield –
