Spotty. The idea was pretty interesting. World events in a simian pov. A slight humorous history tweak where humans and immigrating chimpanzees live, work, and go to school together. The ideal of fitting in and conforming. However, there were too many gaps and it just wasn't a complete tale within itself. Mr Chimpman doesn't tell us whole stories. Just snippets. Like when he identifies Jessica as his manager in one chapter. In the next, they have a baby on the way. He skipped completely over the Spotty. The idea was pretty interesting. Then wife. Nothing to connect the reader to the relationship or make them care when he flees ....

The Diary of Harry Chipman is a great read The author Nathaniel Gold in his debut book captured the life of the main character, as he recalls his life growing up different in a new world. So looking forward to continuing the journey.
