Oh boy did I want to eat everything in this book! I was drooling.....and I'm at work...so not cool. Being Puerto Rican I naturally favored those dishes when reading this book. The book is broken down into sections for each place. Obvs Puerto Rico was my fave but coming in at a close second and third were Chile and Colombia....oh and Cuba....oh wait...and everything else! I just need it all. I need to stop at the store on my way home from work and start cooking.

Great cookbook if you want to learn more about the cuisine of different countries in Latin America. I think in the US, everything south of the border tends to get lumped together as 'Mexican food', but there are a lot of different dishes unique to each country. I enjoyed exploring new-to-me cooking techniques and learning the nuances of the region.
