This is a really informative book on how coconut oil can be good not only for humans but for pets. While I knew coconut oil was good for humans I had never considered how it could help my pets. It seems to be a thoroughly researched book and contains a lot of amazing information that will provide you with everything you need to know about coconut oil and your pets in a readable format.

Poorly written I think the advice is sound enough in this book (based on other readings on the benefits of coconut oil), but the lack of scientific rigor, and the constant repetition, make for poor readability. The author tries too hard to evangelize coconut oil.

This book contains so much amazing information on coconut - even in the human realm... Great to have a highlighter to highlight and tag all your favourite pages. This is not a book that has been just slapped together to get it out there but an informative and useful book. I never even gave it a thought that I could use this safe product for my pets. I use it daily for myself and I know the benefits that gives.

After reading this book and being scared half to death by the many different fats that are found in different oils, I was pleased to learn coconut oil is not only good for you but it’s also good for your dog… man’s best friend. I grew up using coconut oil, but like everything else, I just took it for granted. Now I’m learning to appreciate it more and more from the detailed information the author provides in this booklet. As a case, I had no idea there were so many different kinds of coconut oil After reading this book and being scared half to death by the many different fats that are found in different oils, I was pleased to learn coconut oil is not only good for you but it’s also good for your dog… man’s best friend. As a case, I had no idea there were so many different kinds of coconut oil. The author gives the recommended dosage for your dog and the many uses and conditions that virgin coconut can be used for, i.e., fleas, digestive aids, bone health, doggy odor, etc. Actually, the use of coconut oil for both dogs and human are endless. Informative and well written! This is a really interesting read and the author definitely knows what she is talking about. I had no idea of all the benefits your dog can have when using coconut oil. The author shows which coconut oil is the best and how to apply it in an easy and safe way. She backs it all up with studies and facts. Highly recommended!

I've been all about reading books on keeping our new rescue pup healthy, so I picked this up. I was surprised at how many benefits there are to dogs by using coconut oil. This book is super short but chock full of data on coconut oil's advantages for dog health. The author doesn't just take it for granted that "coconut oil is good," either, but backs it up with plenty of info on why, right down to scientific explanations of things like medium length fatty chains. She also gives suggested amounts, instructions and caveats on how to use the oil for a variety of uses from flea prevention to general health. One thing that might have been nice as the addition of a list of recommended brands of coconut oil, as the author makes a big point of mentioning why you can't just buy any old coconut oil to obtain the health benefit. She says to buy a brand you can "trust," but I'm betting if someone needs the explanation about refined vs virgin oil, they aren't going to have a trusted brand. Still, her discussion on various types gives a good starting point on what to look for in quality oil, so I can't fault her too much for not wanting to endorse a particular brand. This is definitely worth grabbing.

Super quick read but lots of info We just got a rescue pup and I was looking for advice on homeopathic treatment for various ails, like fleas, as well as nutrition information. This short guide offers both. Lots of benefits of coconut oil are given, as well as suggested dosages and methods of application. The only real addition I'd have liked was suggested brands of coconut oil.
