A highly enjoyable little book that mixes flash fiction with cocktail recipes, all of which are excellent. In fact, "Mixed Up" inspired me to start my own home bar. Some of the recipes are pretty standard, but others I hadn't heard of, like the "Smoking Bishop," from Dickens' "A Christmas Carol." I'm making it right now with the snow zipping past our windows the day before Christmas Eve. Good stuff! Great flash fiction plus great cocktail recipes makes for a fun read! The stories may all be connected through the theme of cocktails, but each writer manages to surprise and delight the reader with imagination and inventiveness. Highly recommended for fans of great writing and, of course, for fans of cocktails.

Clever collection of short stories. The cocktail recipes range from basic to bizarre but fit in nicely with the vibe.
