    Elizabeth Houseman

While this book had an interesting premise (learning how to write jokes/humor), it didn't capitalize on it. More than anything, it was a teaser used as an advertisement for Dean's online class, where you would get more material. The information included in this book was interesting, but not necessarily useful if you're looking to learn how to write humor.

Trite and misleading A very simplistic view of what comedy is and how it works that all the depth and nuance of what humor entails. Basically, it's a 30 page ad for a book the author wants you to pay for.
