Wow. This book was so much better than I would have expected. I always thought Spurgeon's books would be "stuffy" or something, but it really wasn't. I found it easy to read and very good. Wow. This is a great book which explains God's justification of sinners, His forgiveness of sinners, and His merciful Grace twards us. It is written by one of my favorite Christian Preachers and authors Pastor Charles H. Spurgeon. I recommend this book to all as well as Spurgeon's other writings. Enjoy and Be Blessed. PS I recommend you pray for an open mind and heart before reading this. Skillfully updated, beautifully clear.

This is without a doubt one of the best books giving apologetic arguments for conversion to the Christian faith that I have ever read. I don't know how anyone cannot be moved after reading Spurgeon's heartfelt plea on behalf of the lost. you could read this book for free on Google Play Books provided by Aneko Press. this is not a long book, you could read this book in one shot. the book mainly themed on soteriology. this is not a deep explanation on salvation, but more for newly born Christian.

This book was quick and simple but incredibly encouraging. It was originally written to be an evangelistic tool, but even Christians can receive refreshment and strength within its pages. After reading this, I would definitely like to read more Spurgeon.

Great book, I'd recommend to anyone who's wanting to know more about faith in Jesus. Some spots I had to listen to again or re-read, because the old English quotes can be a little confusing if you're not paying 100% attention. The absolute plea for people to accept Jesus as our savior The book is like Reverend Spurgeon entering a verbal cage match with the devil to fight for our salvation. Everyone should not only read it but thank the Lord for the free book because salvation is a free gift of Jesus.

Encouraging A very encouraging book about the promises of God’s salvation for His people. You can never go wrong reading a book by Charles Spurgeon.

Brilliant book for those who are either new to the faith or are thinking about the Christian life.

Absolutely phenomenal. Easy to read (I thought it was going to be difficult to read and wooden, but it was anything but). Amazing material. I mean really. This is one of the few books every person should read. If I were to pick a book to give someone besides the Bible, this would be it.
