Dr. Dominic Rivera was unaware of his wife's traumatic childhood - that is, until she killed their only child. Losing a child is a tragedy by itself, but Dominic is also plagued with questions about his own culpability; was his willful ignorance a contributing factor to his family's demise? The young doctor is riddled with guilt, and doesn't hesitate when later gifted a 'do-over'. Though limited to modifying only one day from his past, Dominic's confident that he knows a way to fix it all. He thought he'd been succesful, too, but quickly learns small changes to our collective timelines are impossible. Though he temporarily gets his family back, it's not the same that he'd lost. When his daughter is subsequently kidnapped and he's the prime suspect in her disappearance, Dominic realizes he's the only one to save her. How do the dusty roads of a ghost town provide any answers? And who is Frank?

I thoroughly enjoyed this thriller. Can’t believe this was the first book for this author and can’t wait for book 2.

Read this for something different, but be aware this is not a polished work.
