I liked this book, it gave ideas of how to introduce various art media to students, and some basic outlines of project ideas. I think it could definitely use some updating. I'm not too happy with the reminders to art teachers to be understanding if students are not very "creative", particularly if they use "cliche images" or comics. This should go without saying. While we should encourage students to be creative and push their boundaries, cartoonish drawing and pop cultural images are not things I liked this book, it gave ideas of how to introduce various art media to students, and some basic outlines of project ideas. I love this book. It needs supplemental material because it doesn't really have lesson plans or anything, but it is awesome. I love this book. It needs supplemental material because it doesn't really have lesson plans or anything, but it is awesome.
